Hello all,

I am currently trying to purchase my first pinball machine and being in West Florida is like being in the desert as far as pins go. This Gorgar is located about an hour away from me which is doable for me to get. Attached are the photos which were emailed to me upon request. What do you think it is worth? I looked on pinballprice.com and it looked like around $1000. I am located in Pensacola, FL and the machine is in Mobile, AL.

Thank you for your time,

Thank you for the input. The problem is that there are around 3 Pins for sale that I have found within 200 miles of where I live.

You are much better off either driving more or having one shipped in at that price.

That is what I am afraid of. Haha. Thanks for your time.

Yeah. I am looking to spend $1500 or less. The idea of a Space Shuttle is starting to sound best.

What about the Ted Nugent pin on craigslist for $1000 in Fort Walton near you?

I'm really wanting something newer. I was just going to settle for the gorgar. It looks like I'll have to have one shipped.

fisherman,
Hi from Mobile! Yes, pinball choices are limited in this area. I suggest you save up more money and drive to the Southern Fried Gameroom Expo in Atlanta next year. Should be able to find something there at a decent price that you know works. Those gorgar pics don't even show the displays on, so it may be a dead machine.
There was also a Gulf Coast arcade group trying to form up recently:

Maybe you can make some connections there.

Thank you for the tips! It looks like I am going to have to have some more patience. Haha

Quoted from Dayhuff:

Gorgar is a hard to sell game even at $600 as far as I'm concerned and I stay away from them totally as its the game that everybody wants but nobody can own due to the artwork. Have you tried getting in touch with Ross Ellis right in Panama City ? He has tons of games for sale, he might be a bit high priced....nothing like a $1900 Gorgar I dont think but still worth getting to know him. Look his name up on RGP and send him a email or I can give you his number. Tell him I sent you.
