Quoted from Multiballmaniac1:The next licensed comic super hero game by stern?
This in a thread about another rock band pin...
Nothing against the game, it looks cool and I hope to play it at some point. I just think it is amusing how quickly us pin nerds get hyped then lose interest in pins.
Quoted from delt31:Maybe I’m missing something but gameplay on the CE and LE are the same I believe. Yes there might be a cooler presentation on the CE for the coma lock but I believe the rules/gameplay is the same on both. Maybe I misread?
I believe there is one more lock mech on the CE. From what I can tell that is what people are talking about as the difference.
Quoted from Neal_W:GnR2 LE being steamed live...

Thanks for sharing the link and tuning in.
I had zero expectations or hype going into playing this game, and I had a ton of fun. The light show and fun factor are just top notch. Great job everyone at JJP, this feels like something special.
Quoted from jarozi:Typically a game has lots of flow, or lots of toys/mechs that kill flow or somewhere in between. From those that have played it, where does this one fall? Just based on watching streams, it doesn't seem to have much of either, am I seeing it wrong?
I feel like everyone that hasn't played it is seeing it wrong. It is all personal preference, but I personally had fun playing the game.
It didn't feel too start stop, and the shots felt great. I would urge everyone try this game out before you make any decisions. You really have to see and hear it in person to get a good feel for everything that is going on with it.
Quoted from Psw757:If you watch the streams and read all of the feedback from folks who have played the game, there are a couple common themes which have little to do with actual pinball, great light show, 21 songs and they dig the art/assets.
I have yet to hear anybody say a particular shot just feels great and satisfying, could this be due to it not having much flow and waaaay too much multiball to even get a feel for the gameplay?
Just a couple casual observations I made.
It’s a visually stunning game BUT how does it shoot, for real no hype?

For me it felt like a fantastic shooting pinball machine.
Quoted from pascal-pinball:I think it’s time for JJP to put up a livestream and explain the rules.
It seems that this pin must be played ‘different’ than all the other pins. So some help and ecplinarition would be great.
I have seen some livestreams and all I see is people saying “what do I have to shoot?” and “where did that multiball came from?”
So JJP help us a bit
That is because it is new. JJP games are fantastic for telling you what to do, it just takes a bit to parce out the data. The mini screen is great for that. Also it takes a little bit to see the blinking shots through the light show sometimes but they are there.
It really isn't different, it is just new.
Quoted from Hazoff:Yeah that because who gives a shit. If I'm watching someone play then I watching the gameplay.
Again lets just state the obvious and stop with the horseshit. If ur not a GnR fan then u won't be won over by the gameplay and if u love the band u will get past that pretty damn quick due to the lightshow and music.
I'm not a GnR fan and I thought the game was fun. I guess I'm just special.
Quoted from Dashmonster:I am going to put these on GnR. Just haven’t figured out exactly how yet but I am determined to have the ability to ring my ears like a GnR concert.

At minimum you will need an amp. I would look for powered speakers, it will save you some hassle.
Quoted from Dashmonster:Yeah that’s what I am afraid of. I used to have an amp for my home audio system. Speaker hum is very hard to contain when you try and reduce down to a headphone jack with large speakers. Maybe a pair of powered speakers and I can order some “Marshall” or “peavy” emblems
Peavey sells powered speakers: https://peavey.com/pv-115d-2-way-powered-speaker/p/03602020
I have no idea how good they are, but I imagine they would be pretty nice.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Pretty sure the game has a 3.5mm out that would go into the mixer via one of the line in inputs.

Monoprice 6ft 3.5mm Stereo Plug/2 RCA Plug Cable, Black
Quoted from TheCoinSlotTC:OK now I have to do this too. Is there an audio out that will work with this mixer? I have two powered speakers just sitting around...[quoted image][quoted image]
I would go from the game direct to the speakers and skip the mixer if possible.
1/8" (3.5mm) to dual 1/4"
