Round hole a record?
Scoop next to it.

Quoted from BallPin:I hope it's GnR. Would love for it to see the light of day. Don't be surprised if its not GnR
Little back story, I was told from two people that allegedly there was a meeting on what to do with GnR about 3-4 months ago. Apparently the options were to shelve it until political climate calmed down, or re-skin it as potentially another band (Motley Crue was mentioned as an option) or a safe option was a generic make believe rock band similar to Guns N Roses and working title was "World Tour". Think "Rock Band" video game that had generic rockers, but also some influence from existing bands. So I don't know if they went the alternative routes, or if they decided to scrap those and just say F* it, and release Guns. I hope they are going with releasing Guns. We will find out soon. But that's where I was coming from when I posted 2-3 months ago about GnR.
Excited for JJP to finally release this beast!
With 6 bullet holes under the playfield, I think we can safely say it's Guns and Roses
Quoted from PanzerFreak:Stern releasing a new game is just another day, JJP releasing a new game is a spectacle as that's what their games are.
Dialed In release was certainly a spectacle........
I think tomorrow they are going to crush it though.
Potentially a huge seller for JJP.
Pretty cool that a ton of games already in people's homes.
Amazing there have been no leaks with only a few hours to go!
Quoted from Doctor6:I'm actually jealous of people who like gnr right now. I love jersey jack but just dont like the theme at all. But that won't stop me from buying one of it looks amazing... just wished I was as into the theme as the rest of you.
I am not into the theme either.
That said, the music really works for playing pinball.
Superb light show, great sound system and rules and might cave on this game
Looks like the strip lights at the sides are recessed, so not in players view.
Predict all 500 CE will sell out.
Who would have thought?
Quoted from o-din:Pretty amazing how things have changed.
JJP used to be the king of family friendly, now that's Stern's job.
Yeah, there is a hidden adult mode on the game as well.
The theme integration on this game is phenomenal as JJP were given so much material.
Quoted from PinBalt:Honestly, the game looks like a passion project and amazing - lighting/art/integrated with GnR. But what concerns me is that it does not immediately look amazing to shoot. The upper playfield looks to slow the game down which is concerning. Im not seeing the money in on amazing toys that interact with the ball. Amazing light shown and video experience but iffy on the playing experience. I hope more videos will prove me wrong.
Would like a CE but Eric says SE plays really fast so be interesting to see gameplay videos.
Very interested to see how the upper playfield plays.
Most are pretty boring.
If each shot has amazing sounds and light, then it will be fun.
Looking at the rules, to start a song, collect band members.
Do you have to collect band members for every new song in the game?
And if so, how many times do you need to do this to get to the final wizard mode?
Or are there short cuts?
At first I was against not being able to cradle MB'S, but let's face it, you can do this on EVERY other game.
Good to have something different, and if it's not a game that tournament players like, does it matter?
There are 100's of other tournament games.
That said, if this is aimed more at the casual player, I don't get the low scoring aspect of JJP games.
The brain is conditioned in a way that higher scores/jackpots, give us a bigger reward feeling.
Another reason why AFM is so popular with casual players.
Quoted from chooch:No down votes here. Prices are already starting to come down and all the assets in the world cannot make it a great shooter. R&M looks like a homebrew machine next to GnR and basically costs the same as the LE. Just be ready for Delt to tell you why you are wrong since he has taken over for Hilton being the R&M cheerleader.
Hype dies on every game for sure.
But wasn't R&M under $7000?
Only those paying the 'must have it now' price are anywhere near GnR LE price?
Back to GnR, think the SE is going to be like AC/DC on steroids
I am hopefully getting an SE but now going to wait until there is solid proof these Mirco playfields are not pooling/cracking etc.
