I'm not a Guns N' Roses fanboy but I do like some of their songs. To no surprise, Jersey Jack has shown up Stern once again. Not that it's that hard to do honestly, but JJP knows how to do what only Bally/Williams was able to do in the 90s with their toys and theme integration. Love them or hate them, they make some of the most high quality, memorable games in the business.

As for the art package, in my opinion, the LE takes the cake by a mile.

I'll not own one of these but I can't wait to try one out in the wild sometime!

Quoted from o-din:

Unfortunately for me, I prefer the CE.

Nice! To each their own for sure. None of them look bad to me, per se. I just like how the LE cab art compliments the playfield art. That said, I'd definitely miss the shooter rod from the CE; that shit is dope!

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Do you really think their goal was to "show up Stern?"
Maybe they just wanted to make a cool pinball machine, and that's what they did.
When you base your entire design philopsphy on "showing up Stern" you get a touchscreen lockdown bar with pointy edges and a game that doesn't actually work.
Give JJP a little credit here. I'd like to think after 10 years "showing up Stern" isn't a company design edict.

Oh, I never said I thought that. Sorry that's what you took from that. It was just a compliment to JJP and a bit of a diss on Stern. That is all.

I love you JY64

Quoted from delt31:

N'ah. They just wanted to show up the industry leader by providing more for your money. Shake up the Stern army, like you.
Glad to see so we have some competition. It will only make the industry better.

This guy gets it, CrazyLevi

No he doesn’t. He’s another clueless noob, like you.
When the goal of your pinball company is to “own stern,” you get deep root.
When the goal of your company is to turn a profit, you get something like GNR.

Haha, I don't get it. I've never said that. You've gotta relax buddy; It's only pinball!

Quoted from PanzerFreak:

The GNR standard and LE still blow away anything Stern offers for nearly the same price. I'm just disappointed to see a gameplay feature reserved only for the CE, thats BS at these prices.

Whoa, careful. Don't mention Stern. It makes CrazyLevi even crazier!

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

The funny thing is this is a GNR thread and all you and the noob army want to talk about is Stern.
Not me. GNR looks awesome, can't wait to play it.

I think you're confused again. None of the things you're flailing your arms about are even happening. But it's ok; you'll get the hang of reading comprehension one day!

That said, also looking forward to playing GnR

Quoted from Hazoff:

I have to ask.
Why isn't good enough to love the look of this pin and be happy its being made, why is it important to knock Stern? I really want to know. I mean u get these comments "gary sterns office door is closed today" and "it makes Sterns look like toys" now I agree this looks good and I'm happy for JJP and GnR fans but why? Its has nothing to do with being a Stern fanboy or anything because I'm not. Enlighten me kind sirs.
I will say I think JJP is very wise to include the SE model for not that much more than a Stern pro, personally its the one I like the most and is a real possibility for me even though I'm not a huge GnR fan.

I can't speak for others but somehow I've been roped into this "anti-stern" group. I've never been anti-stern and haven't expressed as much. I did say that I thought JJP was bringing it and has put Stern to shame. That's literally about it. Past that, CrazyLevi lost his marbles and started making it a Stern v. JJP discussion. Then I piled on just because it was fun and he seemed legitimately perturbed about the entire notion.

Stern is fine. I don't like many of their games nor their build quality by comparison to other manufacturers; but they're not bad. JJP makes a higher quality product in my opinion is all.

Quoted from sunnRAT:

I think people gotta feel like they belong to something, so they "take a side" and fire shots like for whatever reason. I dunno.
Kinda silly when people turn into cheerleaders and play turf war among... pinball companies.
Also, don't forget i'm sure someone will still cry for "more innovation!" Boo hoo!
Now, I gotta say, this GNR looks pretty sick. Can't wait to try it out. From what I see, Jersey Jack really did some creative things. This really looks like a true rock band pinball machine. Plus, when you compare the major rock bands that are still remaining and eligible for a potential pinball theme, Guns n' Roses was the best choice out there. Now please make a Judas Priest!

This.

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Jeez! Give a noob a little attention and they latch on like a Pomeranian!
Play it cool kid! I see ya!

Haha. Your insecurities are showing! I'll let you get back to your lording over of others. Enjoy!
