6750 is interesting. Getting close to stern pro territory, though JJP usually charges shipping as well which stern doesnt.

Not excited about the 500 CE's. Kinda defeats the purpose of it being collectible. You can still buy Dialed In and Wonka CE's....
LE it is.

CE reportedly has a special mode, topper, and more speakers...if that moves the needle for you.
Quoted from Sako-TRG:Please, please, please........ in true JJP tradition don't fcuk the cab art up.
How may Wonka top hats did we count last time around.
Imagine if its Fat Axl Rose x 6
Technically 1 fat Axel is worth 6 slim Axel’s
Quoted from mbrave77:topper should be Slashs hat
And special mode has Axl bitching like a goat every time you hit a switch.

Special mode?
Finally pinball makers realize that the reason why the highest end models can hold value is because they have additional features that can't be added after the fact.

Interesting, moving the trim levels further apart than Stern. Really hope this doesn’t become a standard across the industry!
Sterns Prem/LE being the same minus powdercoating and mirrored backglass is a great way of doing it no one really misses out, having a special mode and special topper only 500 people with CE’s can get kinda sucks.
Quoted from ThePinballCo-op:Almost 7k for a NIB is interesting because of JJP quality. Seems like a good deal.
Almost 10k for the next level up is quite the jump. What do you get for 3k more? That's almost 50% more than that of the base model.
40.74%

I like it. Getting the SEs to a reasonable entry level.

Agreed hopefully the special mode is just for fun, because if it's a different code base or a new Wizard mode something like that you're alienating everyone else.
Quoted from Vino:And special mode has Axl bitching like a goat every time you hit a switch.
heh. Im interested to see if Mr Brownstone makes it into the game. I want some kind of multiball dedicated to drug use!(i kid)

Extra ball lock in the apron also.
If those prices are correct, better be a great upper PF. That's a big jump in price and it's rare an upper PF adds to the game IMO. More often than not, they slow the game down.

SE sounds similar to a Stern Pro, and the LE is probably not limited like Stern LEs. I wish JJP could offer a full featured game with just bling missing for around $7500. I don’t care about rarity and bling can be custom after receiving the game.
Funny how JJP touted fully featured games, and now they have a "gimped Pro" that was their biggest knock against Stern. Seems like they are figuring out what business model works the best, whether good or bad.

They listened to feedback from chumps like me who have no intention of ever spending 9500 for a game. So, they got a lot of "new to JJP" customers with their Wonka pricing model. This will probably get even more new customers in. Smart move.

Yeah - so much for the days of all versions of the machines having gameplay on parity with each other. I know Wonka had the physical ball lock difference, but that didn't change gameplay all that much. Oh well...gotta do what's best for business.

Didn’t Stern get absolutely roasted for having a pay extra for more code features through topper or some other accessory?
I guess “this is the way”.
Oh bummer...I have a meeting a 1pm eastern. Wish it was noon eastern, could have watched on my lunch break.

Also sold out of them as soon as they went up for sale

Sure, but they also sold everyone of those things and didn't lose any customers. With JJP including the special topper with a certain model, its a tiny bit different, but a lot more expensive than the $600 topper/mode Stern was selling. You gotta pay 3K to get the mode for JJP.
Quoted from rai:Do JJPs sell at full price or is it like Stern suggested price but a bit less.
Only discount I've ever seen for JJP was a show special. Same price via JJP direct or distro. Straight MSRP.
Quoted from Chopper36:When they announce the game where on the web do you go to see it, Their website?
Ya is this going to be live on their facebook or live streamed or just pics or what?
Quoted from seenev:Wow... Slash could show a little excitement.
Thats what aging does man, sucks.
These days I just fart and say "yep" and thats it.
The Stern premium model has been a big hit recently for the enthusiast market. JJP is not offering anything for them if the pricepoints and models listed above are correct. $9k plus is a very limited consumer pricepoint/audience, and from the sales of Stern premiums it is clear a large base of consumers are willing to pay a little less than $8000 for a full featured game.
If it's true that people already have games, I hope someone has a SE, so we can see the differences on streams.
