I am working on doing a run of ten toppers, maybe two different versions as I am not a fan of the quality and price of the original topper. These will be hand cut out of wood, like the trophies I make for tournaments in the North East. Anyone that knows or has seen these trophies, knows the quality of my work.

If you put a pinsound board in (which is a MUST) you will find that perhaps you do not need to upgrade your speakers. It is the loudest, clearest sounding damn machine with the stock speakers and a pinsound board on the planet, it's insane.

Plus, you can also sell your original board off for a good price to offset the cost of this board (which is what I did- no need for it!)

It's sort of a rare board, I know there are some Batman Forevers that need it. I sold it for $150 here on pinside.

Why? IMHO, it's not very good. The stock sound board in this game is practically a system 11 board, and it is/was very limited to what it could do.
If you are only looking to enhance the original songs to their real songs, that can all be done with the pinsound board too.

The G ramp in my game was not even usable when I picked up my GNR, the front entrance section of the ramp was completely gone/smashed out! I had bought a used one on ebay with cracks and breaks for like $45 that is currently working well, but who knows for how long.

My R ramp is still very usable, but has breaks in the entrance and a glued fix at the end of the ramp. I just bought a red R ramp new on ebay, paying $175 shipped and I thought that was decent, and then two days later (today) freeplay40 announced a rerun sooo G ramp for me for sure. Once the ramps dry up, they are too hard to find so now is definitely the time.

I have TWO of these ready to ship.
All wood material, hand cut with attention to detail. Attaches easily to the top with command strips.
The measurements are 11 inches tall, 11 1/4 inches long.

I offered these years ago and can't guarantee more will be made in the future. Maybe I'm biased, but paying $400+ for a flimsy plastic original topper is not my idea of cool. I have one of these on my personal game and love it, as have guests that have seen it.

Anyone got a spare snake without broken tabs?

There are no shortcuts to bulb replacement on GNR, they are stapled sockets, so you can't go under the playfield and change them, you have to strip the topside plastics and ramps to get to the GI.

Yeah, it was not a smart move. They later changed it to the rubber and a screw, which makes changing bulbs a breeze. I suppose nobody bats 1000, they did a lot of things right with the game with only a couple boners. It's amazing that the code and game basically runs off a system 11 board set.

I've probably made about ten of these toppers for pinsiders, I have ONE left and I will not be making any more in the future. It is hand cut, all wood material, anyone want the last one?
