I'm wondering where I can tap into 12V on my GNR pinball to supply the EL wires I'll be using on my ramps. I'm not as familiar with Data East power as I am with Stern and certainly am not an electrician.
Is there an easy way to tap into 12V on this pinball or a source that would be readily accessible?

So I assume a person would have to plug in a power supply to the AC outlet in the game?
Any other ways to wire this with this type of wiring?

I don't know that they have a 6V inverter available or if it would give sufficient power.
I thought most games have 12V throughout the game but I don't have the tech knowledge to know which areas of the game might be 12V.
That would be somewhat silly to have to turn it off and on with the game however...

Crazily enough, I came across this article which details the work actually done on my GNR pinball to add lighting underneath! I'm just wondering if I could tap off of this 12V for my EL wiring in this case.

I'll be using basically the same wire that's used in the Tron ramp mods. I did order with Coolights and they already have them fabricated, tested, and said they are really bright with 12V source. I'm just looking to basically highlight the ramps a bit so they stick out slightly. As they come stock, the clear yellow and red just don't stand out as much though better than clear.
