Mine had that same damage in the same spot though not as much as yours. They should definitely be using art blade protectors during manufacturing. I think that was their first art blade machine so I'm assuming they have learned since then

Never did before I sold it, but if I would have I would have removed the playfield from the cabinet, used a heat gun to peel the decal off, then some Rapid Remover brand adhesive remover to get the remnants off, then applied the new one. Wouldn't be too bad. Art blades are an easy install, especially with the playfield out.
