I’ve got a chance to pick up either a 1973 Gottlieb High Hand or a 1974 Gottlieb Sky Jump for the exact same price. On a side note, the Sky Jump is a 4 hour round trip and the High Hand is a 6 hour round trip. Both easy drives and both are in about the same good condition.

I have played neither before and was wondering if Pinsiders who have played both have a preference. No wrong answers. Thanks.

Another vote for Sky Jump.

Sky Jump. Once you have all the targets down in High Hand, all that's left to do is go for the center saucer.

Exactly... Now, if the High Hand had been a Capt Card, it would be a tougher choice.

Fun to hear how we all enjoy these gems.

I always have been drawn to High Hand because it must look so good in a lineup but I don’t think I can go wrong here.

I remember saying a couple of years ago how boring and simple Top Card is and it’s one of my favorites now.

Thanks for all the responses!

If it was a Captain Card I would have told you to pick that one.
Go Sky Jump

It's derisively known as "the putting green".

Is it fun before it turns into the putting green? Would 3 Ball be the answer?

All my games are on 5 Ball except for Fast Draw which is set to 3 Ball due to the rule set but it’s still a blast to play.

That’s really nice but way out of my price range. I’m looking at one for $650 but with a few issues.

The game looks great but even when you're down to the last few targets there's a lot of bouncing around without much happening.

Here's a post where someone modded High Hand to reset the drops.

Pretty cool indeed. I’m just wondering if the other solution would be to just set your High Hand to 3 Ball and live with it. I’m going to have to make a decision soon.

Sky Jump for sure.
