Nothing better than gun porn!
Quoted from ASOA:
Dam expensive toys. Thank you Sir!
Yes I know. I have one, two, or twenty five or so myself lol. I have taken a break from buying guns though because I need the money for pins now and plus I have enough now anyway. I may buy another one someday maybe. I’ve always wanted a nice shiny Kimber .45 so I may get one of those eventually. I have a Kimber that is a carry model but I would love to have a Raptor 2 or something like that.
Quoted from Travish:
I have always had good luck with Taurus and their no BS warranty is killer.
Nothing wrong with Taurus guns at all. I have their 1911 .45 and it will out shoot my Kimber .45 I will tell you that right now. I also have 3 more Taurus guns and they are all good guns. I used to carry a Taurus 709 slim 9mm and that gun is a great carry gun. I have put at least 2500 rounds through that gun and have not had one single jam.....not one! Only other gun that I own that I can say that about is my Beretta 92FS

Ok, I need the forum's thoughts on this:
If you were me, would you buy a Ruger GP 100 357 in a 6" barrel at roughly $579:
AND.... a Walther PPS M2 9mm for $306:
AND.... a Ruger SR9c 9mm for $325:
For $400 more than all 3 of those guns combined, just go all in and get a 1969 or 1981 Colt Diamond 38 spcl in a 4" barrel....?
I can't decide : (.
It kinda just depends on what you are wanting to do and why you want these guns really. I mean from a collectors standpoint go with the Colt. I think for the same money of the three guns that you listed first that you can do better than the two Rugers and the Walther. Im not saying that they are bad guns either because they arent, i would just personally go with something different like a M&P or something.
Guns are kinda like pinball machines, you can never have too many and there is always new ones coming out that you just gotta have.

None of my guns are "show pieces" - I
I have a couple of guns that are pretty sweet (to me at least) but i shoot every gun that i own and i dont have any safe Queens. Theres nothing wrong with having safe queens if thats what you enjoy but i want to shoot mine and enjoy them.
I haven't bought a new gun in several years but there's a bunch of different ones that i would like to have still thats for sure. I am a big fan of the Smith & Wesson M&P's. I have four of them, my VTAC 9mm is the one that im most proud of but my two M&P shields are my go to carry guns. I also have a M&P sub compact .40 cal that i used to carry but i like the shields much more for carrying.
Just as a side note for anyone that is looking for a great leather holster, there is a place by me called Stoner Holsters and they are fantastic. Check them out if you are looking for a nice holster. I'll put them up against any holsters on the market.

Well, I decided to take the money I would have spent on the Diamondback and pay off more of my credit card. Between my car loan and credit card, I am $9K away from being 100% debt free.
So, to celebrate that, I decided to support Colt resuscitating the snake guns and bought a Colt Cobra 2" 38 special : ). Got it for $579 off GunBroker, NIB, debit-card fee free, and free shipping. So with $20 transfer fee, $599 in my hand. Not bad considering they were at $800 not that long ago.
I'll be picking it up Veteran's Day weekend when I am allowed to return from deployment for a bit of R&R before I go back to finish my tour.
Two months to wait : (.
Man thats a sweet gun! I got a King Cobra .357 that i bought in 1986. It has a 6" barrel and is what they call the bright stainless. Its beautiful and shoots like a dream. It is so much nicer than the Smith & Wessons. .....sorry to all the Smith guys, i don't mean to offend by any means but it really is. I like Smiths also for the recored but the old Colts are the shit.
Quoted from NPO:
Thanks! I am so excited to finally bring a snake gun home.
The King Cobra was re-introduced at Shot Show this year, and just last week Colt announced they're making the King Cobra Target, a 4.25", 357 with wood inlay grips.
Rumor has it per Youtuber God, Guns, and Country that he asked Colt directly at Shot Show 2019 in January if the Python was going to be re-introduced, and he claims that Colt said once the Cobra lines had been completely reintroduced that they were indeed bringing the Python back to production!
If that is true, man..............I'll be waiting in line with everyone else!
Im not a big revolver guy anymore but i would love to have all of the snake guns.

Daisy had to come out with another Anniversary gun this is probably the cheapest I’ve paid for any of their collectible/anniversary guns.[quoted image][quoted image]
That was my first gun when I was a kid, got it for Christmas. I thought I was hot shit! Mine had a plastic stock was the only thing I didn't like about it.
