Yes a CETME. I like the wood on the 93, may have to change mine. Do you know of a source for 93 magazines? The real ones seem to be made of an exotic metal or something. Hard to find and lots of $$$

#324 6 years ago

Pro mags work about 50/50 for me. Not my first choice. The $80 is what I'm seeing also. When they can be found.

My AR-15 collection. The A2 without the scope I bought last fall. Got it home and checked the numbers, it was one I sold in 1990.

5.56x45 and 9mm in the picture. I also have one in .308. I have been repressing the itch for .458 or .50 Beowulf. So far anyway....

#350 6 years ago

Ammo prices are the best I have seen in years. Check out gun-deals.com nothing for sale there just links to add. Federal M855 or M193 can be had for less than 25 cents a round shipped. I actually bought some .22 LR for the first time in over 8 years, it can be found for less than 5 cents now. Still a double price...

#355 6 years ago

Here is some Friday morning AK. My 74.

I sort of have a thing for AK's.

#363 6 years ago

I love my 74. I just wish you could still get 7N6 for less the 10 cents. I just feed it Tula and Wolf, they are dirty and stink. But the AK just keeps eating them.

#365 6 years ago

Wish I had bought a lot more. Here is my AMD-65.

Brought the mini 14 out this morning. Gonna play some pinball this afternoon. Good stuff on a rainy day.

A pair of quick sight Caracal 9mm. A C and F version imported by Waffen Werks in Knoxville. Not many of these around. They have a very sweet trigger , about 3 1\2 lb. They were all recalled due to a possible discharge if dropped. So I just don't drop mine.

Quoted from navajas:

Looks like they may have tried to utilize some of the same "technology" as my Springfield, but without the parts clearly labeled, how do you know where to hold it?

The round hole in the loud end is best when pointed away from the user.

Only 20?

I bought a small group of .22's. This old Mossberg 64M(b) in it. It needs a lot of cleaning up. Sadly the micrometer sights were missing. I have had the one that was my Great Uncle's for like 45 years, it will do some nice groups.

Hindsight 20/20 yep... Wish I had bought more 7N6 and bakelights, and other inexpensive com-block stuff when it was everywhere.

#621 5 years ago
Quoted from Fulltilt:

What? AK 74 mags?
Dang, do I need to start putting mags back in the safe again??!

74 mags are $45 not talking about tapco. No longer $12 or less than $100 for 7N6 by the case.

I like the barbed wire wrapped whoop azz stick.

#687 5 years ago

Just happened to empty some shell cases today. Sighted in the new AR .450 Bushmaster and a new Glock G 40. If anyone has some input on handgun optics I would like to hear from you. Thinking about a Venom Vortex.
Later Sputnik.

I have a SA .45 colt and .44mag. Lever guns to go with them. Yes they are enjoyable to shoot.

#716 5 years ago

Sometimes work takes me to Rogersville. It not too far. I'm not aware of any SA shooting clubs close by.

I use a Hornandy lock and load for my loading. It is in the garage, the pins are in the game room. I need to pick up a set of dies for .450 Bushmaster. I load .45acp .45 colt, .454 casual,. 44 mag, .38/.357, and 10 mm.

My 2 cents say go with the diamondback. Just for the investment aspect alone.

One more vote for Springfield. You are going to enjoy a 10mm, I love mine.

Quoted from Strummy:

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good, comfortable, concealment holster for a Glock G30? It's a compact 45 but its still a lot bulkier than the ease of carrying my Sig p238. I've used a swap rig which is ok but I'm looking for something better. Inner preferred. Thanks

A Fobus GL4 works with a G21 or G30. I also have hand made custom pancake holster for my G30.

#808 4 years ago
Quoted from Fulltilt:

You semi-auto people you.
Just put in a Sticky and forget it's even there.
[quoted image]

I love my little 5 shot S&W as well. For carry I want a .45, that is what I trained with. That is what I like. I mean what you wear, needs your trust and your skill to use. Like Ford/Chevy... It is what works for you. Most importantly what can you make work should you need it. Hopefully nobody ever needs a it.

Quoted from Travish:

If anyone is thinking about getting into 80% AR receivers I can 100% recommend 5d tactical’s system. A router and their jig system and you can be a pro.[quoted image][quoted image]

Are you using an end mill in your router?

#832 4 years ago

You can not go wrong with a Sig. Also take a look at the offerings from Kimber.

Prior to the National panic attack, I picked up a Springfield XDS with laser and 5 mags at the local farm store. Less than $340 out the door.

Thanks for the info, I will check out your site.

I took one of my Ruger AR 556 out yesterday. I put the Franklin binary trigger in it. I put 300 thru it. The binary will eat, the second tap is not easy to keep on target. It is not as much fun as a lightning link but worth the cost. I have a complete lower on backorder for 2 weeks now I wonder how long that will take in these times.

Went in to pickup my transfer and looked over in the "consignment" case.
That's always a mistake....
My first .454 Casull. Sweet!

Mine kicks like a mule, but I love it. I do some hand loads with 250 grain XTP`s. That tames it a bit.

#976 3 years ago
Quoted from EJS:

Has anyone on here have any experience with the Franklin Armory Binary trigger?
Thinking of picking one up but $430 a little steep for a trigger group.

They function very well. I like the 45 degree safety. A single shot, a quick follow up shot, or a mag dump. Your choice. Easy install with clear instructions.

Quoted from Daditude:

That looks like exactly what i need. Can you compare it to any other glock models, or do you just own the model 30?

Top to bottom. G34, G21, and G30.
