Thanks Josh, Mike and Jody for putting on a(nother) great tourney! Got back to just south of the middle of nowhere about 1:30, but it was well worth the trip seeing old friends and meeting new folks.

Those AL and TX boys are tough. Gonna have to up our training regimen here in MS if they plan on showing up regularly.

The trophies Josh made were great - and I think it really ties the LA shelf together nicely -

We were figuring it out on the way back last night, and its about 4.5 hours to Lake Charles. Might have to make an overnight trip of it, but at least its looking more feasible.

Don't think I'll be able to make it. As much as I'd like to (especially since Preston isn't supposed to show), unfortunately I have too many irons in the fire to get away.

Nevus put on a great tourney. Such a nice gameroom, collection, brisket, and host. Hopefully it will encourage him to have more tourneys there.

I wish we could have stayed for the finish - sounds like it was a good one. We had a great time while we were there and I got to leave a couple marks on the Safe Cracker.

I'm guessing its because its the first where Preston wasn't also playing. I bet he has lots of 2nd place trophies.

Gonna try. The day trips to Shreveport and NOLA are long enough. Would have to make a trip to Lake Charles an over-nighter given the drive.
