Anyone have a lead on T2, Revenge from Mars or Starship Troopers? Looking to make one of those my first pinball game...

Nevus,
Drat...Tempest was the one I was really after of the two. I'll pass on just Centipede. Thanks for the offer.
Not me.....still having problems with my SST. Now my DMD won't turn on except for the color dmd adjustments screen.... I have the most rotten luck with my one pinball...
Nevus, Mudflaps mentioned you know a guy that fixes pinballs and arcade games and is quick to diagnose problems. I'd like to get in touch with him to see if he can help me out in fixing my Starship Troopers game.
Ya'll take care of Mudflaps. When we talked today he sounded like he was going to test the limits of "free beer" on Friday. I don't want to hear a story from him on Monday how he was swinging from the chandeliers being three...four…five sheets to wind...
Just posted my Starship Troopers on the marketplace. I put a lot of work into fixing a bunch of things on it. Hope to find it a new home soon so I can get another game!
Thanks to Aaron for opening up his gameroom today. He's got some really cool games and I think all of us who came over had a great time!
For those who are already missing Mudflaps, I just saw him this evening. I was doing my normal powerwalk around the neighborhood and I hear my name being called. He just happened to be in my neighborhood hanging out with one of his friends that just got in to town. Glad to see him one more time before he heads out to the Jersey Shore!
For those coming to the Red River Replay, does anyone have a LED green bayonet flasher and purple wedge flasher I could trade for another color? Trying to finish up my Avengers pin and comet pinball is out of the purples.
I feel the urge to expand my game room. Anyone know of a Guardians of the Galaxy close by that I can purchase?
Does anyone have a copy of the group photo from last week's Nutten Special Tournament they would be willing to share?
I picked up a SI project in Lexington, SC this morning. Needs a good bit of cleaning, new set of rubbers, some de-rusting and the high voltage board needs to be recapped. It came with a replacement overlay, but I'm thinking I can hold out for one of the CPF playfields, since I've read some horror stories and I'm still a rookie. Appreciate any tips ya'll can pass my way. Can't wait to get this back to Louisiana and get to work on it...

Sorry I won't be able to make it. I'm on the road in the morning to pick up a game down near San Antonio.
I just saw a non-working Meteor pop up for sale near Dallas for a good price. Too bad us folks at the base are on travel restriction else I would go pick it up. Now if anyone in the Shreveport/Bossier area were headed that way this weekend, I'd reimburse them for their time/travel...
I think I've traced my pinbot problem to the harness that plugs into the power board. The molex connector showed signs of a burnt pin. I reseated the again and got my backbox lit up. Now I'll order a new connector housing repin all the connectors and hopefully that will fix it permanently. Oh, as a side note, LED's really make a difference.
Yeah...I spent a little bit of coin to fix up little things on my Meteor and I replenished my stash of LED bulbs that will sit still, awaiting my next game...
For those in the Shreveport/Bossier City area, I've been checking out the pinballs on location on the pinmap. Unfortunately, we've lost 12 locations since ICHIGOKUROSAKI91 updated the map in 2016. Still have a couple of locations to check in downtown Shreveport before I’m all done. The good news is all the games I’ve run across are a pretty good condition.
I have an external subwoofer hooked up to Tron Legacy the same way and you will be blown away with the difference. When I had Avengers, it was awesome as well. Mudflaps, thanks again for making the original suggestion for this much needed addon.
Anyone in the market for a nice Gorgar? A friend of mine in Shreveport has one that he is thinking of selling. The playfield and back glass are both 10/10 with new rubbers and LEDs. He isn’t sure of a price yet and will most likely put up a marketplace ad if he can’t sell it locally.

I am considering a run of clothing patches representing our local group. These can be done for a minimal amount and sold to cover expenses.
As a first example, I could run the Louisiana Pinball Circuit logo on a patch that could be placed on the pocket of a TPF shirt. If it is economical, I could do them annually and bring them to TPF to trade or sell. I'm anticipating a run of 50 patches sold for $10-20 depending on cost.
Does this interest anyone? Do these seem the opposite of interesting to you? Any feedback is appreciated. The shirts were quite expensive and definitely not break-even. However, I do get tremendous enjoyment from it.
(Backstory - this is common in the Scouting world and I have 4 sons that were involved in Scouting). I can likely order small runs of these for much less than the cost of the shirts).
Count me in for one patch.
Anyone going to Texas Pinball Festival? I'll volunteer to pick up Mudflaps at the airport since he owes me some money...
Quoted from Nevus:You will be missed!
I'm in, booked, bringing games etc.
I'm super excited!
Whatcha' bringin?
Quoted from Duramadmax:Hey fellow GulfCoasters.. I am looking to buy a Fish Tales, Bride of Pinbot, or Pinbot in the South/gulf coast area. Anyone have an interest in selling let me know. Interested in a project pin also Thanks.
I know someone that has a couple of Pinbots and a Fish Tales. I'll ask him today and see what he wants for them and send you a PM.
If anyone has Classic Bally or Stern games, I highly recommend Dick Hamill's updated code. I have a Meteor and it brings the game into the 21st century with new gameplay and sound effects. The kit costs around $150 and the changes are very impressive. Games with new code so far include:
Galaxy https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/galaxy-2021-new-code-for-stern-galaxy-1980
Meteor https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/meteor-2021-new-code-for-stern-meteor-1979
Trident https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/trident-2020-a-rewrite-of-stern-trident-1979
Black Jack https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/black-jack-2020-new-code-for-bally-black-jack-1977
Stars https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/stars-2020-new-code-for-stern-stars-1978
Silverball Mania https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/silverball-mania-2021-new-code-for-bally-sbm-1980
Flash Gordon https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/flash-gordon-2021-re-imagined-code-for-bally-flash-gordon-1981
I got the Flash Gordon. Will be LEDing and ready-rubbering it hopefully this weekend as I have 4 games from Charlie’s’ Amusements that I’m trying to finish first.
Not too much. Just been cleaning and repairing on several of Charlie's games in the Shreveport/Bossier City area.
I have a Meteor that is looking for a home once I finish with a couple of mods for the Meteor 2021 game code...
Saw the e-mail for TPF room reservations and found out the hard way they were sold out. Got my reservation set up right down the street in walking distance at the same place I stayed this year.
Quoted from Jodester:Expected a bigger place!
Me too. I expected a much larger footprint for how much stuff it seems they have on the website.
