Yep, not far away either. This game was at TPF last year,
Quoted from Mudflaps:Yeah! Congratulations on the HEP Genesis!
That would actually be freaking awesome to see!
Romp in the Swamp VII and the Bayou Turf Christmas Heatwave (side tournament for the Romp) have been submitted to the IFPA calendar. Also can be found here on Pinside: https://pinside.com/pinball/events/romp-in-the-swamp-vii-2019
More details to follow. Save the date for December 7th.
Hello all. It looks like I'm going to be moving near Ft. Polk sometime next year, and I'm stalking this thread in advance. o_0

In!
Tiger and I plan to go up Thursday.
Yup, I should have the shirts. Currently in production!
We're gonna look like a pinball gang if we all wear them.

Thug life???
Not Pinball, but I wanted to share with my buddies. Stephanie and I stood on hallowed ground last night at really fun event. This was my first time in the dome and touching the field. I have to admit, I was a little bit star struck with an inanimate object. Sir Saint came waking by and we had to get a picture. I want to go see a game at the dome right freakin now.

For those of you traveling to Houston next week for the big show, I wanted to make sure you all knew that the bus trip to the Lone Star Pinball Museum on Friday is now free. It leaves at 2 and returns at 7.

Also, don't forget they are giving away a Jurassic Park pinball machine. Raffle tickets only sold at the show. $25 each or 5 for $100.
See you there!

One heck of a football game yesterday. It is hard to describe how negatively eight strait years of losing to Alabama has impacted LSU. Watching LSU being able to move the ball and score touchdowns was almost surreal after years of being shut out.
Anyway, glad we have Coach O and Joe. 23470D42-193F-49AD-AEFF-7D6CB58D28CB (resized).jpeg

I’m totally getting a raffle ticket this year. Is there a limit to how many they are selling?
Can’t wait for Haag. Jodester and I are leaving Thursday morning to head over there.
PavBall will join us Friday evening.
Quoted from Nevus:Lunar Lander and EBD are back up and running. Evan came for a visit!
EBD for Sorcerer temp trade?
Quoted from Nevus:EBD for Quicksilver yes sounds good
Pav will never let Quicksilver leave the house. I can loan out Sorcerer though on a temp trade.
It was great seeing all of you at the show. Congratulations to our tournament winners. I have no female pinball players in my family, but I couldn’t help noticing how great the women’s tournament appeared from a distance. It was great having it in the main room for exposure. I loved the banner. Congrats to all of our friends who made it happen.
Besides the ones already spoken for, I heave one collared shirt $40 (xxl) and t-shirts $25 in Large, XL, and XXL. I’ll bring them to the Romp in December and or I can mail them for a few bucks postage. Thanks to all for supporting the project. We looked like a pinball gang on Saturday.
A few pics from the weekend.

First of all, how dare you! Second of all, I have no good follow up. Sorcerer is great in every single way. Somehow Quicksilver keeps ending up in league play, though...
We need to find a way to get Star Trek back in the rotation.
Found another pin in the wild in Monroe! https://www.facebook.com/BackYard-Axe-Throwing-West-Monroe-106574530769160/?__tn__=%2Cd%2CP-R&eid=ARC_Ifw2Xlmfzij9Tlxhysl3Nk_dt_F66VxFTYPYLMl5QhqY2r72UlzPAn4aqWVyBgtkfrF1jwRsNv9U
Needs a flipper rebuild, but anyway, added to the map!
Well, it's not a tournament, but Tilt and I are putting on this event tomorrow night!

If you keep having events there and getting the word out people will come. For years the Lake Charles pinball community was basically just me, Jodester, and Wendell...we kept hosting events for Lake Charles based locals and eventually people started showing up.
If you host them they will come. Try doing even more free advertising through your Facebook page.
I picked up a SI project in Lexington, SC this morning. Needs a good bit of cleaning, new set of rubbers, some de-rusting and the high voltage board needs to be recapped. It came with a replacement overlay, but I'm thinking I can hold out for one of the CPF playfields, since I've read some horror stories and I'm still a rookie. Appreciate any tips ya'll can pass my way. Can't wait to get this back to Louisiana and get to work on it...
We had a dozen at the Pinball 101 event last night. A couple familiar faces and many new ones. No pinball newbies. Everyone was a player, and we had a great time! Tilt let me open up a machine for those who'd not seen a modern machine, gave us play cards, and didn't nag us when we realized we were still playing past closing time! More events to come!
Did you teach the NE LA pinball players how to do slide saves and slap saves, or is that gonna be in the 102 class?
Did they get to see you get pissed and tilt machine and lose your end of ball bonus?
Oh wait, I guess Preston or TigerLaw can teach that technique.
