Looks like a fun time indeed. 27 folks? Wow! Congrats to the winners!
Quoted from Arcade:Preston sent it in a few days ago.
Sorry, he just plain forgot to do it, but they have the results.
Should be up soon.
Many results posted yesterday (some very recent) but still not Beaumont. You guys should request your Texas IFPA rep Xerico find out what is happening. Preston should forward
Xerico both the email confirming he submitted the results and proof he tendered the IFPA the fee, with that
Xerico can figure out what has happened. Thanks.
Alright, I’ve submitted both the main tournament and side tournament from last night to the IFPA. I’ve already received the email that what I submitted is being reviewed and my account shows them as submitted and paid for and only pending review. They will post by Monday.
Quoted from EasternBloc:Really enjoyed meeting so many fine folk in Lower Left Louisiana. Thanks Tigerlaw for hosting!
Really glad you made it in. You are welcome any time.
RE: September 2019 Red River Replay.
I don't have my kids full school schedule yet, but I'm working on it. I'm not seeing many conflicts. It will be on a Saturday. I'm happy to consider conflicts and regional tournaments tournaments already being scheduled.
Potential Dates
Sept 7
Sept 14
Sept 21 Possible conflict with local Astronomy Club
Sept 28
Quoted from Nevus:Sept 28
I have a conflict on this date. I could reserve and lock in any of the other three dates at this time. Thanks!
I just posted a new tourney on the IFPA website.
Make Pinball Great Again 2019
Event will be July 5th and run from 6:30 PM until we finish.
Matchplay 3 rounds with 4 or 8 players in finals depending on crowd. $10 entry fee...
No side tourney this time. BYOB...I will have chips and snacks for everyone.
Contraband tournament just posted to IFPA https://www.ifpapinball.com/tournaments/view.php?t=33410
Quoted from Jodester:Event will be July 5th and run from 6:30 PM until we finish.
Sry I have to miss this one. Ill be sweating in Oklahoma with Henry.

Sorry Chris. I was trying to plan something for July, but this was the only date that worked. I still plan to have a Halloween tourney and will work with everyone on the dates.

Ill find an excuse to come visit this summer. There's a quicksilver that needs to come to see my house!
Just posted my Starship Troopers on the marketplace. I put a lot of work into fixing a bunch of things on it. Hope to find it a new home soon so I can get another game!
Quoted from Nevus:Sell it to Mudflaps!
He needs more games to move.
I offered to trade him my bronie costume but he already had that one.

Don’t you mean your (brownie) uniform
Looks like Monroe is joining the Pinball Renaissance!
A place called Surge is building in West Monroe. Pinballs are not too likely there, BUT...
Tilt Studio building into 60,000 sq ft in our mall. https://tiltstudio.com/
And a barcade is "opening soon" on Louisville Ave.
Amazing. Simply amazing. I can't wait to get to know all the owners/operators and see what the future holds!
Quoted from PoBoyPinball:There was an arcade called Tilt in the mall at Witchita Falls TX and not 1 pinball machine in it.
The previous arcade in our mall was also called Tilt. Had one pin. Long time ago.
But look at the pix on Tilt Studio's home page: https://tiltstudio.com/ I'm thinking they're gonna have pins for sure!
Well, we’ve had some pins moving in the Lake Charles area.
Congrats to Bfults on his first NIB pin, having another Deadpool in town will be awesome.
I hope you enjoy the CSI Dgiles ; we will deliver it to you on Saturday when we go pick up the BSD from
ulmpharmd Speaking of which, thank you so much
ulmpharmd for selling me your BSD, I’ve passed on so many BSD acquisition opportunities in the hopes you would one day sell me yours...easily the nicest BSD I’ve ever seen. It’ll be taking the slot in my home collection that Medusa has been in since 2016 and I do not see it leaving.
Medusa is back with HEP getting a tune up by the master himself before going to live at my office in Metairie as my only game there.
My Dragonfist sold to a pretty darn impressive collector out of New York. I’m sure getadam will enjoy the game as much as we have. Thanks to
Jodester who is going to loan me a game (I believe he mentioned Solar Ride) to fill the slot being left vacant by Dragonfist until either Danesi 2 or JJP GnR are available for purchase.
Jodester and I are considering parting ways with our Seawitch at some point during the last quarter of 2019 and going in together on a Beatles Gold if it makes it into the Stern Rewards program, but we aren’t really 100% sure on this yet. Might still keep the Seawitch and send it to Keith Holbrook once he’s done with Catacomb, which should be soon.
Quoted from Bfults:Thanks! Hopefully just the 1st of many many more![quoted image]
Don’t worry once you have two they tend to multiply.

Hey, my first post here. Found this thread while Googling to find info on the barcade coming to Louisville Avenue. I did see it's called Hooligans, but can't find anything else on them. With regards to Tilt Studio, I emailed them a while back and a senior VP of operations told me that yes, they will have pinballs at the location! I think they're shooting for a September or October opening date. Surge told me they're looking in to it, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Which pin do you remember from Tilt? I know they had Jurassic Park for ages, though I think I played an Alien Star that was kind of near the back in the late 90's. I really had to dig to remember the name of that thing, but I really enjoyed playing it.
Thanks to Aaron for opening up his gameroom today. He's got some really cool games and I think all of us who came over had a great time!
How about adding a unique side tournament just for fun when putting on tournaments throughout the yr.
Not saying to copy what others are doing. Just listing an idea to get you guys thinking about ideas for new fun format type tournaments.
I assume these would be non-IFPA points type tournaments.

Ahem...
Someone is kind of a big deal! Looking forward to this one.
Quoted from Nevus:[quoted image]
Those guys just saw how much Nevus paid for Stern NBA.
Quoted from scottslash:Nice job on the podcast mudflaps !
Speaking of mudflaps... nevus ... Any update on posting of Mudflaps Invitational tourney results? Maybe Edwin doesn't need the points, but I could sure use 'em!
Sooooooo...
I'm working on it. It shouldn't be much longer. I think the modern tournament result reporting somehow follows the logic that gives warnings like "do not eat the urinal cakes". It seems unnecessarily complicated like it's designed to deter point scammers.

Did you run the tournament in matchplay? If so, you can copy and paste in the IFPA results from the main tournament page on the admin side. Let me know if you need help.
It was in Matchplay. I appreciate it. Adam from IFPA has been helping me. We are each on a several day delay in email replies. He was kind enough to just ask me for the tournament links so I sent them today. It should be resolved soon.
Nice job @mudflaps on the podcast! @cadmium and I listened to it yesterday. Thanks for the shoutout to Lauren Gray's @luluflips new podcast Backbox focusing on women in pinball. I was excited to be one of the guests on her first show. Have a listen! I talk a little about growing up in Louisiana and playing pinball at McNeese.
