Quoted from PoBoyPinball:MUDFLAPS airshow this weekend? You going to get your guys to do a few flyby's over the tournament maybe buzz the house?
Yes, but I asked them to stay out of sight and deny they’d even heard of me.
Thanks to everyone for putting on a great event... from the trophies to the rules, food, tournament stuff, etc, it was a blast. Special thanks to Nevus for opening his amazing gameroom to all the great folks in the Gulf Coast. I’ll miss you guys but will see you down the road.
Great day. Thanks to all that traveled to Shreveport.
Quoted from Nevus:Great day. Thanks to all that traveled to Shreveport
Thank you for hosting another fantastic and smooth tourney! The brisket was excellent as well.
I think I mentioned this but the current iteration of your collection is easily my favorite version you’ve had. Those classic games in particular are stunning and adding Beatles into the bunch was great.
Thanks Tiger and congratulations on your first First!
We are beginning to have our own small town Tournament Circuit.

Tiger and I were talking about that last night. We need to have shirts made with the Louisiana pinball tour. It would be awesome to have another city or two to put on the shirts...
Thanks to Chris for hosting, Jody for scorekeeping, Mike for being TD and to everyone who had a hand in the tournament. Josh, the trophies were awesome! It was a great time. My performance was abysmal, but with the good food, fun and friends there, it didn't matter. Congrats to Tiger and Henry on the big wins!
Quoted from Jodester:Tiger and I were talking about that last night. We need to have shirts made with the Louisiana pinball tour. It would be awesome to have another city or two to put on the shirts...
I have a great idea for that! I'll report back with progress.
Quoted from scottslash:On my way!
Thank you for taking such good care of Star Trek for us. It is playing great. Did you install lit speakers? I don’t remember it having those?
Quoted from TigerLaw:We need to get both James and Josh to host an event and add it to the list
James said he would host one this year in his new game room. Did he ever find a name for his annual tourney?
Quoted from Nevus:Great day. Thanks to all that traveled to Shreveport
The boys had a lot of fun. Thank you for hosting. Sorry I couldn’t make this one but I will try and coordinate the sitter for your fall tourney. Do you have the date for fall?
Quoted from PavBall:The boys had a lot of fun. Thank you for hosting. Sorry I couldn’t make this one but I will try and coordinate the sitter for your fall tourney. Do you have the date for fall?
I told Tiger he left you home so he could win!
No dates yet, but usually September.
Quoted from PavBall:Thank you for taking such good care of Star Trek for us. It is playing great. Did you install lit speakers? I don’t remember it having those?
Yeah, ya'll owe me for those lights. Just kidding. I didn't add em.
Loved having it visit. Was a lot of fun!
Quoted from Nevus:New GC Sunday morning after cleaning the game. Glass on!
I’m really enjoying this game.
Wow! That is a serious score!
Any one know when the Beaumont tourney will post to IFPA website? Arcade ?
Dialed In made it today. So far, it’s really fun. I’m glad I finally took the plunge.
A few quick customs.
Titans on the slingshots and flippers.
Mezel colored slingshot and outlane protectors.
Henry is busy figuring out the rules.
I don’t want to make a big deal about it, but I was the fourth person to touch Nevus’ new game once it arrived.

Preston sent it in a few days ago.
Sorry, he just plain forgot to do it, but they have the results.
Should be up soon.
Please remember to let click the attending box if you believe you can make it to the Contraband Pirate Tourney in Lake Charles on Friday, May 31st:

I have to say I am jealous of your last two acquisitions Chris. I would like both of those games in my collection. It just sucks that I will have to sell something to make space for one.
Quoted from cadmium:The Dronets are planning on attending. We're passing through on the way to Florida. Thanks!
That is fantastic! I might recruit one of you to help me enter scores if possible.

Gosh, same here. The Shreveport collection is pretty fantastic. Nevus has amassed a stellar collection and DI and Beatles has made it even better. I want to get that Blackhole for the office!
I am selling a Bally Flash Gordon for 1200 if anyone is interested. I am located near Dallas, Texas. It is in the first floor and i will help move it.
Here is my listing with pics:
Looking forward to the end of the school year on Friday and a little pinball to celebrate! Tiger, what games will we be playing in the Contraband?
p.s. My dad may stop by. I told him to dress for the office.

The main tourney will be: TAF (we are moving it to the office tomorrow), WOZ (note my monkey is broken), Seawitch, Dragonfist, Doctor Who, and Iron Man.
The side tourney will be on Safe Cracker.

Upon further consideration and discussion with PavBall and
Jodester and Greg, I am going to pull Dragonfist due to reliability issues and CSI will be in the main tourney in its place.
I submitted the RRR 5 pingolf today and the main will be following soon. I will update when it’s all done.
Any weekend tournaments coming up? (Sry Tiger I can’t make Friday nights).
Quoted from Nevus:Any weekend tournaments coming up? (Sry Tiger I can’t make Friday nights).
Jodester has been talking about potentially having a July 5th tourney at his place. We may potentially do a romp in August but it’s not locked in stone.
That sounds fun. Sadly, I’m out of town the whole week of July 4 for Boy Scout summer Camp with Henry.
No AC

What state will the scouts be in for this adventure?

Looks like the IFPA updated some May events today but still nothing on the Beaumont tourney as of yet.
Quoted from Pinball-is-great:What state will the scouts be in for this adventure?
Oklahoma

The No A/C is a bit messed up for July in south-central Oklahoma imho.
Pennington Creek looks rocky, rugged, and an interesting place to explore. Looking fwd to seeing some cool pictures from up there.
Will probably find some different types of critters and creatures up there. Do some night-time searches with flashlights too.

Ice and Benedryl recommended for scorpion stings. Bark Scorpion does reside in Oklahoma. Not deadly, just painful.
The tarantulas in Oklahoma may look intimidating, but they are actually not a big concern.
Quoted from TigerLaw:Speaking of moving machines around.

Nice.
Have not played one of those since the Dallas Tourney a couple of years ago.
I saw on the IFPA website that Adam Becker is on vacation all week this week, so it seems unlikely either Shreveport or Beaumont will post till next week. Just FYI to those that have been checking.
Wow, happy to say we had 27 attendees to the Friday night tourney.
We only had six games in the main (and the tourney director neglected to turn off extra balls) so the total event went for four and half hours start to finish...but it was pretty awesome. We had people attending from New Orleans and had six competitors from Houston. Thank you to all those that attended and a special thanks to Elizabeth for helping me out with the scoring entry.

Thank you for hosting! I’m happy to help anytime you need. Here are a few more pictures including the side tournament finalists: 1st Josh, 2nd David, 3rd Christopher.
Thanks also for the fun prizes from the treasure box of WHO!
Looks like a fun time.
I’m a total newb at submitting results. I turned in the Pin golf results but haven’t paid as I couldn’t find the payment button. I received a link to it along with a page full of college Algebra on how to properly submit Pin golf results.
I’ll get it straight, but that sure takes the fun out of it.
