Leon, do you find Monster Bash to be kinda dark? I may look at adding Pinstadiums to the game.

Ours is under a giant light so it is not to dark.
But I'm sure Pinstadium would look amazing on it.
Alas, the Moncla mafia where better representatives for Louisiana than I, the champion of California (pictured below) had me packing my bags pretty quick. But the North American IFPA Championships were fun. Here are some quick photos:

Black Hole joins the line up next to fellow Gottlieb Centigrade 37!
Mudflaps has this game looking and playing sweet!
TWD Prem has left to join Mudflaps.
I am selling a Haunted House. In Rockwall, Texas (near Dallas).
Ad here on pinside. Contact me for info.
Quoted from TigerLaw:And TSPP is now officially ready for Romp VI!!!
Thanks for taking care of my baby! I'm wrestling with that drop target on ST again.
I am looking to buy one of the following:
Gottlieb Stargate, Sega SouthPark, Williams Diner, Williams Pinbot, Bally Judge Dredd, Williams Johnny Mnemonic
Preferably within a few hours drive of Dallas, Texas
If anyone has one of these, or a lead to one...please PM me.
Quoted from scottslash:Thanks for taking care of my baby! I'm wrestling with that drop target on ST again.
TigerLaw You'll be glad to know I've got the drop target working like a champ again. Had to drill several holes in the playfield and get rid of the Vengeance ship, but it works great! (Do I need to add an emoji?)

Anyone watch the Black Knight stream?
Thoughts?
The game looks fun, but can’t say I was super hyped. I’m not a heavy metal fan (at all). Otherwise it looks like a blast. That music running the whole time I’m playing would grate on my nerves. Kind of just the opposite of TNA music really bringing me into the fun.
I’m looking forward to playing one and seeing if the music changes a bit as the code develops. I’m sure it’s unlikely as the soundtrack was done my Scott Ian.
Quoted from Daditude:Anything out there? Anyone have a lead on a pinbot?
No sorry.
Looking forward to seeing folks at @tigerlaw 's Romp In The Swamp VI !

I and my stepson Chris will be there! Who else?

I know I guy with one but he likes it to much to part with it.

I’m split. On one hand, the game seems to flow well and have really satisfying shots, especially the loops. Loved the RGB lightshow and flames in the back. I also really liked the animations and callouts.
Not sure about the flail blocking the game’s only ramp. With just one ramp, that might get annoying. The music was awesome... the first few times. The same riff over and over may get old at home.
This looks like another Stern, which isn’t a bad thing. They put out reliably fun games for every taste. With a MM, though, you may be at castle overkill.
I made it home safely. Just got home. Hope everyone else makes it home safely as well. Big thanks to Tiger and Pav for putting on another fun day of playing pinball with friends. I only took a few pics. Will post soon. .
The pinball bling necklace in the upper right corner of the 1st pic above was the prize awarded to winner of the side tournament.
I did not take a pic of the trophy for the 2nd side tournament that was played on The Simpsons Pinball Party machine.
Forgot to take a Single photo but wanted to pop in and say thanks to everyone that helped put together Romp VI.
We all had a great time as always.
Really hated to win and run, but the stream must go on lol.
Even though we started a bit later then normal we still had lots of viewers.
We even had one fan that decided to gift a tier 1 subscription to our channel to 5 lucky viewers. Awesome.
We discussed the new Black Knight and Wonka for quite a bit all to the backdrop of Whitewater.
If you have not seen it yet give us a look sometime on Twitch. Next Sunday is our ever popular Pinball trivia night that everyone can play along with.

Also remember to come and get your Texas IFPA points Saturday May 4th in Beaumont at the Shoot Again Shootout tourney. Noon start time.
Great time in Lake Charles indeed! Thanks to our gracious hosts, tourney directors, and all the competitors!
Quoted from Mudflaps:Looks like fun! Sorry I flaked.
Ummm, please don't flake out on the RRR5/Mudflaps Invitational coming up Sat May 18th.
Quoted from Pinball-is-great:Ummm, please don't flake out on the RRR5/Mudflaps Invitational coming up Sat May 18th.
Nope! I’m driving back in town the day prior and will be primed and ready.
For those traveling, the Barksdale Air Show is 18-19 May. Always a great event for those with some time to spare.
We have a repeat winner in the Lake Charles league. PavBall took first place after eleven weeks of grueling competition.
She clearly has my number as she has now knocked me out of two leagues and two tourneys since Feb 2018. Anyway, congrats to PavBall and thank you everyone who participated.
The next league begins on April 30th. 3BBF61A1-190A-4C59-A707-DC6B3670474D (resized).jpeg
Minor issue with submitting the tourney results from Sunday: I accidentally used the wrong email address when registering the main tourney and primary side tourney (though oddly I used the correct email for TSPP side tourney...so those results should post tomorrow). I’ve had to email the ifpa and ask them to fix the email associate with submitting the results so I can submit the results. Might be later in the week before this gets squared away and the results are posted. My appologies for the delay. Thanks.

Back to BKSOR vs Wonka
I've already started saving pennies. If I go Wonka, my target will be TPF 2019. By then, they should be shipping and available for a show game discount. I suspect another Stern (or two) will launch and be available in the wild before the first Wonka lands in someone's home or location. BKSOR could still make it to the gameroom if I choose to move something else. I'll go play it in Dallas the first weekend of May before the RRR and bring back a report.

Pick up a BK Pro. Play, enjoy, bitch about the code, waste money on unnecessary mods, then sell prior to TPF 2019 for Willy Wonka.
Edit: TPF 20
Quit livin in the past you pinball junkies.
TPF-2019 is already history.
Now if you can't wait til TPF-2020, I guess you can make plans around SFGE-2019 or Houston-2019 Expo.
Anyone have a copy of the photo with me, Preston and Kelly with our trophy’s
I was going to copy it from here to post on Facebook, but it did not get posted.

I photobombed that one! I'd like it, too!

Thanks! (and I still want my shirt!)
Beaumont appears to be the next tournament on the list for our club and is on May the 4th. Who all is attending? Make sure to mark as attending here: https://pinside.com/pinball/events/shoot-again-shootout-2019
A Friday night tournament on May 31st in Lake Charles has been tendered to the IFPA. This is not intended to be a big tournament (just a quick after work tourney on a Friday night), but everyone is certainly very welcome to attend. @jodester will not be attending this tourney due to a schedule conflict so if a game goes down during the tournament it really will be down. Here is a link:

I am unsure what game is going to replace CSI in the office line up (assuming, of course, it has sold by May 31st). I may move TAF to the office for league for the summer/fall or I may put Star Trek back up there. Greg has discussed loaning his Sopranos to the league for the summer/fall and @jodester has mentioned possibly loaning Transformers at some point. We do plan on changing up the line up a bit from the winter/spring league session.
