Quoted from Mudflaps:Look what I found in Lyons, Colorado
Yo Mudflaps Is it just a sign? Or do they have pins?

It’s a legit business, but apparently they open only sporadically. Our tour guide said he’s seen them open three times in six months.

Quoted from Mudflaps:So apparently there was a furry convention at the 1Up bar in Denver today[quoted image]
Like you didn't know before you went there.
Quoted from Nevus:Great day in Beaumont today![quoted image][quoted image]
And The winners were?
Quoted from Jodester:Like you didn't know before you went there.
Everyone kept asking about the ‘Meercat.’ I told them he was taking some down time and recovering in Lake Charles.
There's a 1977 Gottlieb Fire Queen e-m for sale in Missouri for $800 obo.
Would be great if a LA Pinsider were to add this one to their collection.
Quoted from angus:mudflaps should have let me know you were in town! We could have hung out. I was actually in Lyons on Saturday. It is a great place.
Darn! We were on a tour, so unfortunately we didn’t have a ton of time, but I’d love to reach out if we’re. ever in the area again.
Quoted from PoBoyPinball:And The winners were?
Sorry, we post everything on Facebook.
But The main tourney was won by Phil Grimaldi, Preston Moncla came in second, Bryce Revnew was third and Leon Moncla was fourth.
Side tourney was won by Preston Moncla, Phil Grimaldi was second, Mark Gunter was third and Elizabeth Dronet was fourth.
Here are some photos.
The event was a blast and can’t wait to do it all over again.

Thanks, I'll have to go get me one of those facebooks.

You had a great mix of guys/gals/younger/older pinball people there, and players from at least 3 states (LA, TX, AR).
Looks like it was another fun day of pinball action at the Moncla's.
And I see the walls are getting filled up with pinball trophies and plaques won over the past 4 to 5 years or so.
Did anyone grab that Seawitch that was in Lafayette? Great price on that machine assuming it was complete and functional.

Didn’t see it where was it listed? Craigslist, Facebook, pinside
Quoted from PoBoyPinball:
Only $1,200. Cheapest desirable classic Stern I’ve seen in awhile.
I was really glad to make the Oil City open. I feel pretty fortunate that we have such a generous regional group of collectors and enthusiasts. When I began my pinball journey in 2010, I had DFW and Houston. In 2018, I have local friends to play with regularly and tournaments in Lake Charles, Shreveport, Southern Arkansas, Beaumont, and Jackson all in one year! Thanks to all of you for opening up your gamerooms and joining me in mine.
Booked the hotel room in Mississippi for the night before the tourney. It appears as though we will have five guys from the LC area coming in for the tourney (subject of course to change).
Let’s help our friends in Mississippi really kick off their IFPA program in style with a heavily attended event!

What hotel did you use?
Quoted from Zukboy2002:What hotel did you use?
Marriott Residence Inn, Jackson, MS
TigerLaw,
I talked to Zuk on the phone and filled him in more on your plans. He will find out if he is driving over to MS with family, or if just him.
So he will get back with me and you to let us know his plans. If it is just him, then he is interested in riding over on Fri with you. Thanks for organizing the road trip Tiger. Should be epic fun.

Quoted from Mudflaps:Enjoying my day off [quoted image]
I like that IMDN topper Mudflaps.
When are we doing a Star Wars temp trade?
Quoted from Mudflaps:Enjoying my day off [quoted image]
I’ve been off of work since Wednesday in a use or lose vacation situation so I’m not going to lose it. Been making progress on the bathroom in my game room. A few weeks ago this was more like a storage closet. It’s been painted (ceiling and walls) new flooring, installed the commode and the vanity. Hope to connect it all up soon.
Also have to get and install a door.
Quoted from Jodester:I like that IMDN topper Mudflaps.

I just picked it up from Tilt Toppers and it’s pretty sweet. He does great work.
You may have to get in line with Nevus on SW, but I’m always up for a temp trade anytime. Sometimes they wind up staying here permanently!
Quoted from Mudflaps:You may have to get in line with Nevus on SW...
Quoted from Nevus:[quoted image]
Damn! That line is longer than the line for Port-a-pottys at beer fest.
Nevus, Mudflaps mentioned you know a guy that fixes pinballs and arcade games and is quick to diagnose problems. I'd like to get in touch with him to see if he can help me out in fixing my Starship Troopers game.

Quoted from Jodester:A little impromptu gathering last night
Thank you for hosting the league finals on Thursday and then inviting us over last night! Man, Deadpool is really an awesome game.
Quoted from Nevus:Mudflaps and I got to reactor 5 today in 4P co-op
Nice! Zukboy2002 finally made it through reactor 6 on 4 player co-op. We had to take out the power ball and put in all steel balls. Took us many attempts. One day we will destroy reactor 9!
