Nevus and his son came and did the game swap today. See you in six months or so Game of Thrones. Hello Ghostbusters!

So, any club members have any fun pinball stuff going on this weekend? If not fun pinball stuff, how about just fun stuff? Share some pics of your weekend.

Anyone notice this group from Beaumont that delivers and sets up machines to Lake Charles? Who are they? I’m assuming they are a business since they take credit cards and what not.

Quoted from Jodester:So, I leave for a few days and everybody gets new machines.
Welcome back!
Quoted from WavingWilly:tigerlaw Please buy Creature from the Black Lagoon. It is the pin I remember from the local bowling alley growing up and the one I am dying to try again in person! Or maybe xq11 will take a liking to it and buy it?
You and XQ11 should go check it out. It's a short hop, skip, and a jump away. I'd wait to hear from Arcade on who the seller is though. He would know them if they are a new brick and mortar arcade/pin seller from Beaumont (which is what that ad indicates).
In Lake Charles’ first ever non-IFPA sanctioned knock out style tourney, we had nine people show up and play through the grueling gauntlet. We had two people finish 1st and 2nd that had not previously finished in the top three of any Pinball event.

I sent a PM to him letting him know all about our group.
Oh, and by the way, we made the front page of today’s Beaumont Enterprise!!!!
No link on the website yet to read but I will post it when it goes up.
And yes they used your Walking Dead Tiger
They took hundreds of photos and interviewed us for over 2 hrs. We had no idea what would make it to print.

Quoted from spanks_4:Anyone have a rob zombie pin? Looking to put some games on it
I think Mudflaps does.
Pinball-is-great Love the Ozarks pics!
Arcade that is BADASS! Do you have a pic of the continued article?
TigerLaw I call shenanigans on your bogus tournament. The "tournament" has a giant asterisk as Joey was a loser and XQ11 graciously forfeited his spot in the winners bracket. My score on Scared Stiff would've smoked any of the two winners. And to answer your next question, no - I'm not bitter at all!
Quoted from spanks_4:How do you like it MF?? It looks like a brutally fun time lol...
Are you going after AC also?
It’s a really fun game. Lots to do with varied modes and funny animations. Nice build quality. Not a popular title and the value tanked, but I really enjoy it.
I’m going to wait and see on AC. I’m more interested in IMDN right now.
Medusa is back and is playing amazing!!! Major thank you and mad props to Jodester
This game has never played this good! Heck, he even drilled out the pingulp so it would finally fit with that massively thick powder coat job the game has.

Quoted from PoBoyPinball:Did he fix that darn start button
Yes! And the coin door...And the drop targets...And the roll over switches...And the lights...And the flippers...gosh it had some gremlins. This game now plays as good as it looks!

I dunno, I think Joey simply wisely maneuvered himself to be in the group that was most likely to have a spousal order to depart enforced on it...if so, that’s a skill of its own.

A thumbs up to @jodester. I love the classics and always want to play that game when at your place. So now it sounds like it will actually be enjoyable

IMDN?? Sorry I'm behind on my abbreviations.
If I ever get in the mood to drive 4 hours north I will have to swing by and put a few games on RZ.

Iron Maiden = IMDN
Only because:
Iron Man = IM

That's what I was figuring, but wasn't sure.. What does the DN stand for?

Just shortening of MaiDeN

Quoted from Mudflaps:I talk about pinball enough at work that I may have a buyer looking for his first game
That’s awesome. Would love to see y’all Shreveport gentlemen get your league up and running.
Any major regional Pinball news this weekend? What is the mafia streaming tonight? Any new games pop up in someone’s collection?

Nevus is the Shreveport tourney godfather. I’m waiting patiently for his instructions.
I have a list of pinball to-do’s: wait for TS sound board, re-paint & re-stencil Drop A Card, finish Police Force, etc. How can I do all this while raising a family *and* squeezing in 6 hours of TV a day?

So, the sound board was bad on Shadow?
Quoted from Mudflaps:Does anyone have a T2 (or similar game in the $1500-$2200 range) they may be willing to part with? I talk about pinball enough at work that I may have a buyer looking for his first game. LMK
Consider looking for a Gladiators for your friend.
Still a sub 2k dmd game that’s not in huge demand but is pretty awesome and loaded with features. I think that game was originally supposed to be Zelda but they couldn’t secure the license and had to do a last minute retheme.
Quoted from Raegor:I'll be there with my son.
Awesome. I'll have a whole bunch with me. Hope to see you there.
Has anyone seen our friend and top level chef Spg101 recently? I’ve sent him a couple pm’s to see if we could lure him to LC for the June 23rd tourney but note he hasn’t logged in to Pinside since early April. Perhaps he is traveling for work or something.
Does anyone have food suggestions for the events on the 22nd and 23rd later this month? In the absence of BBQ perhaps we just do pizza. We are going to be missing a significant number of tourney mainstays sadly as there are a lot of vacations that week.

He just stopped in here in Beaumont at Colorado Canyon last week or so.
He is still around and doing well.
Quoted from WavingWilly:tigerlaw I see you updated your profile to reflect that you are posting from Athens, Greece. Any good pins over there?
I am making Tiger take a week off playing pinball. We possibly could locate a machine or two but they are not common in this country. Arcades are not common here except on a couple islands and those are all redemption based. I think he has a deep clandestine plan to try and sneak off with Phillip and Ferdinand who have both just arrived and scrounge around for a pin somewhere but he is on his own there and I am on to him anyway.
I know Tiger is really looking forward to the league starting up again in a couple weeks. Catacomb ended up being the game that came out to fit Speed ‘s WOZ into the league lineup. We ordered the ball gate stopper for the bagatelle from cottonm4 and Jodester has rebuilt the pop bumpers for more action and easier ball locks. Catacomb will be better than ever upon its eventual league return in the future.

I also fixed that spinner that was causing us issues. Game is playing great and is just in need of the bagatelle gate.
