AFM, a fan favorite for 2 decades.
Some of you may know this concerning IFPA registered tournaments starting in 2018, but I'm pointing it out now, so you will be aware of this when planning upcoming tournaments and leagues.
A $1 endorsement fee will be charged by IFPA per player per tournament or league event for results submitted to IFPA in 2018.
Thus, either an extra dollar is collected per player, -or- the prize pool can be lowered by $1 per player entered to cover this fee, -or- a tournament/league sponsor can agree to cover this new IFPA fee.
This new IFPA endorsement fee will also affect the state championships that are being held on Jan 20, 2018.

Tournament directors will be responsible for sending in this fee to IFPA if they want results submitted to be approved by IFPA.
Tournament & league organizers and directors will want to coordinate with their regular player base to decide how this new fee may or may not affect things in their area for year 2018 events. For example, you may want to organize a league to only submit results to IFPA 1 to 4 times per year instead of monthly, in order to help reduce the amount of IFPA endorsement fees. The $1 fee per player is charged when submitting results to IFPA.
Hope this helps clarify things more than confusing the issue with this new change.

Last tourney we fit 8 cars in my drive way, which was awesome. Please remember to fill up the drive way and park in front of my house. When those areas are full pass my house and park on the road in front of the empty field.

Ok, I'm a BBQ snob and I special ordered some sauce from KC for the tournament. My daughter said it arrived today and will be bringing some with me for the tournament! I wanted something to put it over the top! I'm in Dallas for meetings right now... will be firing up the smoker Friday....

Yea, super disappointing about Doctor Who. Wendell says he will call me tonight with the prognosis on the gear box. I'm guessing that part is absolutely unobtanium (unless I find a parted out machine), so not sure what to do if we can't fix it. I have a brother in law with an engine winding business in Houston, perhaps he can repair it at some point.

The tourney director, chief pin doctor, and gentleman loaning is the em for the day all plan to show up around 10:30am. If you make it in around 11am or so that would be great. I think Pinball-is-great plans for lunch at about 12:15.

I tried to get him for Saturday but he was already committed to be at the pin church starting tomorrow night and is doing some classes this weekend there. You may see a deferent EM this time just have 1 little thing to make sure is working on it first.

Yea, I’ll bring home a usb tomorrow and get it updated after work. We will have the new code smell on Saturday. I wish I would have updated my SC code as well, I need to order the Roms for that sooner or later. Nevus has the most updated SC code and it is pretty amazing.
By the way, I think the opto in the trough on XMen is not reading right. Will need to see if we can get that squared away. All other games seem to be working really well (Varkon still has no sound, but the game play is perfect).
Anyone interested in a Silent Scope 2 arcade game? fully works, decent shape, biggest issue is the plastic control panel under the gun is cracked like they all are. $200 and no I won't deliver it. It's in Denham Springs.
Negative, "boss" wants me to try and have the SBM ready by Christmas. I lost a lot of time back in October with a staph infection, trying to make up for it now, but I know a good time will be had by all!
