Over at the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles for some fun today
Went to DFW to pick up my Lunar Lander monitor from repair. I should have it up and running soon. I stopped by Nickelrama and played Dialed In, Star Wars and Aerosmith. Mudflaps joined me in the adventure. Also, he made me go to Buc-ee's. Where else can you get high fructose corn syrup antelope jerky?

That's me in the picture playing air hockey behind the guy in the hat. I had a great time playing Star Wars and putting my initials on Hobbit.
Man I feel for you folks in Louisiana. When did all the Spainiards come over and dominate your rankings? We must have missed that tourney!

IFPA 2017 LA Ranking
That's pretty funny. I think that happened last year also. Pinball-Is-Great will get it ironed out for us I'm sure.

IFPA 2017 LA Ranking
Lol thats some funny stuff right there

Thanks cadmium for pointing this out. I just sent a brief email to IFPA mentioning it to them in case no one else did.
Quoted from TigerLaw:I think that happened last year also.
I agree. This happened before, and was easy for IFPA to correct.
IFPA found out that the Spanish pinballers were taking unapproved supplements and blood doping w/ a custom concoction that included deli meats, Shasta, and foreign sourced crawfish and shrimp.
So, all their LA points have been voided.
Always best to use fresh caught genuine Louisiana seafood -- especially when here on our home turf.

That's where they went wrong, we don't eat those Chinese shit pond crawfish you find at the Chinese buffet places and we don't drink Shasta, this is LA we drink Fanta and eat Louisiana caught Crawfish. Imposters
Quoted from Zukboy2002:High roller casino shipping out today.
Where is it heading Josh?
What will replace it?

Titan white silicone rings
Titan yellow flipper
Titan yellow "Stern slim" posts
Pinball Side Mirrors
Removed the Stern Pinball's and put in some Premium balls I picked up from Rob Anthony at TPF.

A few things left. I purchased the yellow Convolux fluorescent protectors, but they are so thick, I couldn't fit them without replacing some of the #6 machine screws in the PF. I've reached out to Convolux for an easier solution. If you haven't seen them, they look amazing! Here is an example thread.

Looks awesome! I installed yellow BriteButtons in AC/DC last year and removed them because they were... orange.
So did someone pick up that Ship Ahoy in Laporte this weekend? Had my eye on it but the wife is giving me so much crap about what I have I'm not sure if a pin or a divorce would be cheaper... wait. $400 to cost me 1/2 of everything and all the tail.. I know which is cheaper

I just looked at your wishlist. Pass on the Ship Ahoy and go for the Safecracker! It's smaller and takes up less space.
Quoted from Jodester:Well, they are yellow-ish Chris.
Orange isn't great for that game, but I may try blue.
The white Titans are great. I also love the look with the mirror blades.
Hoping members of GCPC make it thru the hurricane winds and rain ok. A bit surprised I'm not seeing any chatter on here about Harvey. Some places in SE Tx and SW La are supposed to get rain for days.
Dont park by any old water oak trees.
Hope you all are stocked up with refreshments, including Fanta and some select deli meats.
We had some winds kick up last night and for some reason rain was just parked over my area. We are keeping an eye on it and ready. This morning they were thinking we could get about 18 in of rain? For my area it's looking like rain this weekend up to about Wednesday. But we know how these things change when they hit land so its a just wait and see.
Be safe GCPC hope to see everyone in a few more weeks at Red River Replay

Love the Fanta and deli meat reference.
So far so good in Beaumont.
Very light rain only all day.
Hoping for the best as we have days of this to get through.
First band of rain showers related to Harvey is just hitting here where I live east of Lafayette, LA.
Approx 4:40 pm Fri afternoon Aug 25, 2017.
Quoted from Arcade:We had 7" of rain fall over night!!!
Here is a photo of Folsom Dr. where my business, Colorado Canyon is located.
In my best pinball quote voice.
"Whitewater!!!!!!"
Hope all is well
Just saw where some areas might get 50 inches of rain. The most Indianapolis ever had in a YEAR was 58 inches in 1876. Sheesh.
Really getting crazy.
Storm now expected to go back out in Gulf then come through somewhere from Houston on East.
It's like the nightmare that will never end.
Started raining here about 2 yesterday afternoon still raining. Not like they are getting in TX but they are saying we are not out of this yet. Jodster, Tigerlaw and Pav how is everyone in LC we are hearing reports of flooding for you guys to.
Everyone okay?
Quoted from PoBoyPinball:Just ran to Walmart to get some stuff just incase (Asteroids and Frogger) oh ya I think my wife bought some water and stuff to? I'm ready these are battery operated
That's a good idea. I've never seen those for sale anywhere but what fun those would be when the power goes out!
Quoted from PoBoyPinball:Jodster, Tigerlaw and Pav how is everyone in LC we are hearing reports of flooding for you guys to.
Thus far limited rain. It comes in bands. I closed my office down for tomorrow though as we are expecting a lot of water. Pav and I's house should be fine (doubt we'll flood here) but I'm a bit concerned about the office if that storm heads back this way now that it's re-entered the gulf. Will keep y'all posted.
I got a bit of water in my sunroom last night. I rearranged the sandbags to keep that from happening tonight. (I hope)
My game room is high and dry.

Exact same situation here Jody.
We had some drips in our add on Sunroom as well.
So far all games are great.
Fingers crossed.
Quoted from Dmod:Glad to hear everyone is OK so far. Some of the images on the news this morning are heartbreaking
At least in the Lake Charles are we are not doing too bad yet. We keep getting breaks in the rain that lets our drainage catch up.
Horrible stuff in Houston though. One of my friends who many of you in this group have met (I think he may have even posted in this thread once or twice) lost his only pin (a BSD) and everything else on the first floor of his house and his wife was evacuated by the coast guard. Got her two cats out though.
So far doing ok in south-central Louisiana, east of Lafayette.
My little town is along the Teche Ridge which runs along Bayou Teche.
That said, two hours of hard rain from Harvey created a lot of temporary yard lakes.
You can tell when the town drainage system starts overflowing.
1st pic 10 am, 2nd pic taken a bit after Noon.

It's already gone down some in the past half hr in my yard.
I'll go check out the bayou in a bit to see if the water is up over the dock at the boat ramp.
Talked to one of my friends over in Houston via text a hour or so ago, he and his wife are doing good collection okay. He said A collector a few miles from him lost most of his games. I asked how others in the HAAG group were doing he said most others are doing okay.
Had my wife check Game preserve face book page ( I don't have a face book) and looks like they are okay and have been opened.
Any one else hear from our friends in Houston? I hope they are all doing okay.

Been talking with Phil Grimaldi, Rusty Keys and Keith Christiansen.
All are good but Phil had water knocking on his door.
Things are bad and getting worse. The flooding in Houston and surrounding areas is so widespread it is unbelievable. Places that have never flooded are flooding. Not going to drop names but I know several people that some of you probably know that have flooded. If it doesn't stop raining I may in that club and it's not one I want to be in.
Here is the street behind my house.
