Was hoping for sunshine so I could ride the bike down again this year, but looking like rain all week and weekend. Did get nailed with rain last year on the way down but the ride home was clear.

We will have some chips and Dip, meatballs and sausage. All you will need to bring is what you plan on drinking.

Everybody can start showing up at around 10:00 we are trying to start at 11:00. Looking forward to everyone showing up.

My wife and I have plans and Preston has been to Austin the past two weekends so he has to work.
And Allen is always out on any Saturday tourneys.
Really wish we could, it was a lot of fun last year.

That should give other folks a chance without Preston being present.

So, Jason 1st, Mike 2nd, James 3rd?

Henry got 4th in main tourney, and 2nd in Pingolf.
Gave the Hoff/Sharknado to Henry for playing good in the tournaments.

I put some pics on the gulf coast FB page.

Henry will compete in the Red River Replay and the HAAG tournaments.

We will have a baby sitter worked out over the next couple of weeks. We will miss no more tourneys.

Correct with Henry coming in 4th and a pin golf battle between Josh and Henry with Josh winning after several tie breaker games

2017 Red River Reply is set for Sept 16. Plan on one main tournament and one side tournament.
As before, I'll smoke a briskit or something yummy and have some snacks. Bring anything else particular you may like to drink or eat. Mike V will register the with the IFPA soon and get the details nailed down.

I look forward to seeing those that can join us.

Is this what you had in mind for the main tournament format?

A common choice is to have 9 or 18 holes of Pingolf w/ a direct play component play-offs & finals.
We still have at least 3 weeks to get tournament format decisions made and submitted to IFPA website before the 30 day advance notice deadline, so I'm trying to keep an open mind to consider options for side tournament name and format.

Since this event is more of a pinball party w/ a couple pinball tournaments thrown in, we decided to not have big long drawn out tournaments, and to limit it to just 2 pinball tournaments so we have time to visit.

Does anyone like any of these suggestions for the name of the side tournament for the Red River Replay event?

Its hard letting go of games. Hated to see GoT go right before the new season of the series.

Hobbit is shaping up nicely. I am still waiting to get the new warg bash toy from JJP. I must say that the game reminds me of all the maintenance nightmares from the past. (ST:TNG, TZ) I have tracked down 5 broken wires on coils and switches and adjusted the popups a bunch to get things playing well. The well worn playfield protector was cut off last night.
