Glad you guys had fun!
Quoted from Spg101:Awesome time today guys! Quin and I had fun, thank you again for the hospitality. Don't let any of the extra brisket or sausage go to waste....
I'm doing my part. I had smoked beef brisket and smoke sausage for a midnight snack once I got home last night.
Then this evening I had the same plus some of James's baked beans. Sleep + good food ==> feel great!
James won the Varkon side tourney. He must have wanted that trophy.
The highest score on Varkon for the entire main tourney and side tourney was put up by James in the Finals match.

As Steve Ritchie says: 2nd place is first loser. Oh well, I was happy to get 2nd place.
I like making the ramp shot to activate the lower playfield.
Maybe next time we could make some Cudighi or some spicy Italian sausage. I make some with lava-jack cheese but you have to enjoy the heat... twice..
Quoted from Noahs_Arcade:that was a blast! thanks to the hosts, chefs, and guests for an amazing time!
Really glad yall made it!

Man, what amazing food we enjoyed. You and your son were a lot of fun. I hope y'all make our next tournament!
Quoted from scottslash:Thanks for the pix, y'all!
Quoted from Mudflaps:Glad you guys had fun!
We sure missed you two (and Nevis)! Hope y'all all can make the next one.
Romp in the Swamp III (a flip-en good time) thanks PavBall and TigerLaw for putting this on. Thanks Spg101 (AKA brisket) man if we weren't eating that food we were talking about like a farmer in his field Out Standing. Thank to Pinball-is-great for running the tourney. If was a fun way to spend fathers day great people, great food and pinball.
Quoted from Mudflaps:We're going to DeGray Lake instead in AR
Mudflaps, is that you on vacation sneaking in a few games of pinball?
playin_pinball-in_river (resized).jpg
Was there any drama along the roads while driving up, or on the way back?
road_warrior-chase-drama (resized).jpg
Did you drive the speed limit and avoid getting any tickets?
police-women[1] (resized).jpg
Ride any jet-skis or wave-runners out on the lake?
.
Halfway up, my trailer brakes locked up and started smoking. When we got there, someone was in our spot. Then it started raining. Then the ticks and chiggers came out.
Other than that, camping was awesome!
Quoted from Mudflaps:When we got there, someone was in our spot.
Quoted from TigerLaw:Cindy looks like she will go right up the Sabine River...yikes!
Romp in the swamp could be for real tomorrow.
Tiger I think you have the only photo of Josh and I as the final two for the Project Pinball Tournament. We posed for a pic with someone lol.
Do y'all know of any good "in the wild" games or locations around the Lafayette area? Headed that way for a wedding in St. Martinville and both pinside & pinballmap look pretty sparse.
I called cadmium and gave him a few possible leads on where to possibly find a pin or two in the Acadiana area.
He understands there are not many pins in the wild in Lafayette area.
What are everyone's pinball plans this weekend? PavBall and I are off to Greece. Will send pics this week.
Any pinball machines out on location in Greece?
Is there any pinball expos or festivals in Greece?
Any pinball museums in Greece?
Any collectors with nice pin collections in Greece?
Report back next week, w/ pics.
Quoted from Pinball-is-great:I double dare you to use the ladies restroom at Target Mudflaps.
I always use the Family restroom. It's cleaner and I don't have to flush.
Tiger before you leave do you have the pic of Josh and I from the finals of the Project Pinball Tournament? Have a great trip!!!

I'll dig it out of phone and post it tonight. Just landed in Germany.
Quoted from Arcade:Here is the Revenge from Mars champions photo.
Very nice!! Thank you for posting that!! One day I will win a trophy.

Yea, I've been meaning to post the results of the overflow tourney. PavBall has been on my case about it. I'll get it done on Wednesday.

Um, yeah you will lol. I won that thing and need my points
Btw, Thanks for posting the pictures.
Tiger,
Mudflaps and Nevus are planning to go to Josh's Houma tourney & party.
You may want to coordinate w/ Nevus.
Red River Replay was sept 2016. I'd like to have it again this year in September. Mike is willing to come up and be the TD. If possible, I'd like to not conflict with others as we have a relatively small community. Please reply here if you have any interest and if the dates would work for you. Although it would be a tournament, my main interest is pinball folks coming together for a good time. I'll make sure there's food and fun for whomever comes, if they want to enter or just visit and have fun.
Possible dates and conflicts in September 2017
Sept 2 or 3 Labor Day weekend and some may have commitments.
Sept 9 or 10 xx Mike V not available xx
Sept 16 or 17 ?
Sept 23 or 24 xx Nevus out of town xx
Realisticly, that gives us Sept 2-3 or Sept 16-17.
Tiger, these "discuss the date" posts can easily get lost. Can/will you mark them as "key posts" until the dates pass?
Quoted from Nevus:Tiger, these "discuss the date" posts can easily get lost. Can/will you mark them as "key posts" until the dates pass?
Key post added!
Quoted from TigerLaw:Is the Mafia going to the Houma tourney? If so, y'all got room for a stowaway from LC?
Is Jodster going?
Nevus,
For Shreveport pinball party and tourney
Sept 16-17 would be my 1st choice.
Sept 10th is open for me, but not Sep 9th.
Sep 2-3 is also ok for me.
