The Louisiana IFPA rep came by today to make sure all the switches work, all the games are level, the tilt bobs are set to tourney grade, change a few bulbs and is helping to clean the games and get some fresh rubbers on where needed.

We fixed the stuck ball problem on Doctor Who (a stripped screw on the W ramp was causing the ball hang up), though we still don't know whether Doctor Who or Medievil Madness will be in the tourney. Will check with Nevus and Jodester on the DW vs MM decision and will let you guys know as soon as a decision is made by those gentlemen.

Now confirmed: Doctor Who will not be in the SCS, instead Medievil Madness will be in the SCS.

Big thanks to Nevus and Mudflaps for making this work out. I'm super excited to have MM for a little while and getting it in the Louisiana SCS is awesome!

    F14 looks really nice.
    Came with cabinet leg protectors?
Must have been from a collector and not a garage find I'm guessing.

    #955 7 years ago

We just installed our new Spider-Man painted speaker panel and Whitewater side panel art this week.
    Came out really nice.
We also put a cointaker shaker in Spider-Man because they were on sale for $79.
But holy hell, that thing is crazy loud and shakes your fillings out. Lol
It will be for sale soon as I have a normal Pinball life shaker on the way.

It was from a collector but I had the protectors.

Get you one of these and put on that Cointaker motor. I put one on my TWD and it made all the difference in the world. Now I can adjust it to whatever intensity I want.

    Cool.
Would be awesome if all shaker motors came with one of those installed in the first place.

Well I came home with another pinball machine with help from JAHpinWizard and so the inevitable thing happened my wife said they had to go outside. So, after several hours of disassembly and the help of my brother in law, all my machines are in my future game room in a row for the first time. Even though, some are in the process of being repaired and brought to life, it makes me super happy.... sheetrock or not!

Jodester came by today and we solved the drop target issue on the Medusa, then a few other minor problems with the coin door.

Medusa is playing great and ready for the SCS.

Leaky good luck with that I had a old school Pepsi bottle machine and a candy/gum machine. Here is what you will find out you and your wife will get the pleasure of filling them then you will also find yourself giving the kids the money to get the stuff out. But honestly it's fun cool to have them in my case to have had them

    Goodbye LOTR, Hello GB.

I'm available to troubleshoot any issues you may have. The game will need to be dropped off at my house, and my turnaround time is usually 3-4 weeks.

    #989 7 years ago

It looks like the box got damaged So I can see where Mudflaps will have to take it to his place take the game out of the box and it would take a month or so to fix the box then a few more weeks to get it back to you....

Who you gona call Ghost Busters

    #990 7 years ago

    Funny stuff guys.
And congrats on the great pickup.
    We love our GB Premium.

    #991 7 years ago

Thanks guys. Looks good so far. ULMPharmD helped me get it set up this morning. Got the air ball protector installed and some nice pinballs I had stashed. Henry will be home to inspect it soon.

Wow! Impressive how good Henry is getting at playing pinball.

Well, does Henry give the new GB-Prem his approval? Thumbs up by Henry?

    #994 7 years ago

He's been asking me for a while to get one. I ordered a Premium after the TPF and then cancelled with the PF issues etc that happened over the summer. I'm really glad I changed my mind, the game is great fun.

We took a chance and got one of the first Premiums off the line.
Worked out great. Playfield is still fantastic.
    Certainly one of Sterns greatest.

That's great news. I'm glad I went ahead and got it. I remember how much fun it was at TPF. That enjoyment came right back to me this week.

I really like Batman 66 and totally did not expect that I would. It's quite fun, but pricey. I would like to make my next game a Spooky if it appeals to me.

    #997 7 years ago

Roll Call for games at TPF!

I know some of our usual gang won't make it this year. I would really like to combine the Gulf Coast and ArkLaTex Group like last year. I'm planning to bring 2 games again. Scott's bringing POTC. Who else is bringing games?

    #998 7 years ago

We will bringing at least one game from Beaumont. Have not decided on which one yet. It was Metallica and 2001 last year.
Right now I'm leaning towards Game of Thrones Pro but that could change

Wow! Henry is improving quickly! That's a serious score.
