Yup. I built one of those ROKR wooden pinball kits. https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/rokr-pinball-machine- I've built a bunch of these models, and this one took about 15 hours. Pretty cool really.
100's of jokes to be made: No, I'm not putting Titans on it... The rules aren't very deep... Waiting for code updates... No tilt or glass -- so that's cool... 
If Pinside would let me post videos same as photos I'd letcha see it in action!
But honestly, these ROKR and UGEARS kits are great if you like fine detail work and putting things together like I do.

We finally got some shirts done that we are satisfied with (for now anyway). I think they turned out very nice. The shirt has a small upper left logo on the front and and full back logo. We can do pretty much any shirt color that is available, as long as it doesn't clash or match the logo color (red for example). They are $20 each. If you would like one, PM me your size and color preference. I will notify you when the order is ready and you can pick it up or get it at the next tournament. We can also ship if needed. If that's the case, just indicate it in your PM and I will get back to you with the shipping cost. We can accept Paypal, Cashapp, or Venmo for payment.

Yes, we are planning to go to SFGE. I don't know why, but it is a month later than it usually is, so Connor can't go because of band camp. Hopefully it will go back to the usual dates next year so maybe you can make it then.
It has been quiet in this thread. What is everyone up to in pinball currently. My Big Bang Bar departed this weekend. Very sad to see it go. I do have a Foo Fighters coming my way soon.

BBB is a fun game to have come and visit. That was definitely a nice one. There has been lots of family activities here with birthdays and a graduation. It’s been slow on the pinball front.
My restored Gamatron will be coming home very soon. It’s been away for over two years. I hope to have a fun day trip picking it up. Rush LE and likely Astro will be listed for sale soon to make some room.
As per the usual Nevus like of less popular games, Zeppelin Premium has become one of my favorites. Also, Bond 60 is a winner.

I see that Vendalah is starting up a pinball league in Baton Rouge, with weekly events on Sunday afternoons in July & Aug.

Absolutely exciting to see. I’m hoping Lake Charles is able to help Vendalah with the women’s division activity as well. PavBall tells me she wants us to start hosting more tourneys again as well.
We have lots of new machines heading to Lake Charles soon.

So, for my third straight visit to Greece I tried to hit the big pinball museum in Athens that allegedly has over 100 working pinball machines.
The location is in Athens’ city center and I always find it as it is not too far from where one of PavBall’s aunts live. Alas, it is always closed (never permanently, but always when I stop by).
Anyone ever find this place when it is open?
I make 100% of the tournaments I’m able to go to! Hard to commit to a weekly league anywhere, and I am also sadly out of town during Jody’s event. Still planning to have Lake Monster Madness return this September.

Two great games! I loved Nevus’ AMH…and it sure stayed in his collection a good long while. Jodester had a Batman Forever and I thought it was super cool. You can play a six player game on it as I recall.
We have a Foo and a Godfather coming to LC. Probably getting Stern’s fall release as well, once it is confirmed what it in fact is. I had a chance to grab a Bond LE at a great price, but the timing wasn’t right so I sadly missed that deal.

That does sure answer a lot of questions. Wow, that is super prime real estate to just be sitting vacant for five years…whoever owns that property clearly doesn’t need any money. At least PavBall and I now know not to keep stopping by.

PavBall tells me she is planning on coming and playing…her first tourney in well over a year. That said, I’m not sure if our sitter will last the likely tourney duration so you could likely talk her out of the reserved slot if you are over allotted.
With this format, everybody has to play all the games to make the math work. She would not be able to leave before the tourney ends. 
It looks like we are full for my tourney on July 1st. If anybody else is still interested, I have a waiting list started.
LA Open Pinball Tournament 2023 was held in Lake Charles, LA, on Sat July 1st.
It turns out that playing pinball in an air conditioned gameroom in south Louisiana in summertime is considered to be quite a good idea.
Thanks Jody & Karen for hosting. The machines held up great.

Update for Romp in the Swamp: I reduced the number of head to head games using this new matchplay formula from 20 down to 14 (after how long Jodester’s tourney ran this past Saturday I thought this reduction was for the best)…that is just for the qualifying round.
Also, as a friendly reminder, you must register in advance for this tourney. So far I do not have anyone who has registered who has not played in tourneys at my home or office previously (so if you’ve never been to my home or office before but think you are registered you should reach out to me). I also have two slots left. If you think you’ve registered but are not fully sure just shoot me a quick PM.
Getting serious now! Ready to install the TiltGraphics pin blades when they arrive. SO much easier with the playfield out.
Already cleaned and waxed PF, cleaned inserts & lightboards, rebuilt a noisy gearbox, lotsa stuff.
ColorDMD and a few other parts & LEDs arriving soon.
I'm in my happy place.
