I have no inside knowledge of the TPF hotel process, but…

In the past, Embassy seemed to have released them in blocks. I have no idea why. If that remains true, more may come open in the coming months.

I caught the email right when it sent and was able to get a room.

SFGE is traditionally a bad time of year for me, but I would love to add it as a third regular show to attend with major bonus points for having friends that are there. It would be a nearly perfect July, Nov, March

For example, I’m already out for next year if it’s the same date. I expect to have more free time in a few years as these boys have less activities to attend

Next year is scheduled for July 28,29 and 30th.

The 28th is my birthday so I'm going to have to come up with something really cool to do while I'm there. Indoor skydiving has been mentioned. ???

Henry came out of retirement to join me in Flowood today. Thanks to the whole Thaxton gang for a fun day!

Also, I really like fair strikes with Matchplay.

Yes, big thanks to the Mississippi gang and to the Baton Rouge gang for making the drive to play in the tournament.
They represented over half the field, and having 17 players in the tournament was a good number.

Sorry that Tiger and I missed it. We’ve been so tied up at home. My plan is to rejoin the pinball tourneys next year.

Per a recent TPF email:
"quick message to let everyone know we plan on opening preregistration, merchandise, and tournament entry sales on Saturday, October 15, 2022. We’ll announce exact time just a few days before."

So, if you want to enter the tournament at TPF on the Mar 24-26, 2023 weekend, you may want to mark your calendar, and check TPF website just before Oct 15th. Last few yrs, the tournament entry spots for main tournament, sold out very fast.

Sadly, I can't make Leesville. I've had such a crazy calendar. We had to give up 4 Bengals v Saints tickets for Sunday's game b/c my youngest 2 boys have homecoming this weekend.

My next group event is The Houston Show.

Henry has been playing quite a bit since the Summer visit to the Thaxtons. I've been back enjoying it a bit more myself. I have along overdue scoop, cliffy and switch swap on Rush tomorrow.

Jessica is having their Belles and Chimes chapter Halloween tourney Tomorrow and our open Halloween tourney is the 29th. We are going to try and make it to Leesville next week but we have so many irons in the fire right now I'm not 100% sure.
