Interested in Trading for a G&R LE?

Sorry, I had that pin but I don’t think I’m into music pins. Awesome light show though. I’m really looking for modern Sterns. Thanks.

Another wonderful pick up today. If anyone ever wondered if two games would fit in a new body style Tahoe, the answer is yes (easily). It shoots like a Stern (and I mean that as a large compliment). Very smooth. Great layout.

Congratulations. That seems to be a fun game.

    .
No high scores by me to brag about, but I did enjoy hanging out and playing pinball with friends.
    .
Po-boy heading home after the tournament.
What a great life he has; playing pinball and riding motorcycles.

I didn't catch it what does the Education Is Important tshirt say? such a great time! thank you everyone!

    #5566 9 months ago

Looks like a great time. Congratulations to the winners. I miss seeing all of you.

    #5567 9 months ago

Big thanks to Paul for hosting! 21 people…that is the best turnout for a Louisiana tournament since the last Romp in the Swamp VII, which was all the way back in December 2019.

So glad to meet the Baton Rouge crew. Brian’s tourney is next, then two quickies at my office, then Rob and Vaughn’s events. Paul plans to hold another in November. I’m hoping to talk Jodester in to having one in October. The tourneys are in full swing.

    #5568 9 months ago

Tournament results submitted. If anyone has any more photos please post them.

Big salute to Paul for hosting as well as this awesome trophy! It certainly didn’t make its way to my corner of the state, but what a cool piece of art. Really enjoyed getting to see and compete with everyone.

Hello, we will have a low-key friendly league in Baton Rouge in July. Sunday July 10, 17, 24, and 31, at 2pm. We will have four games at Central City Steak and Seafood (see the Pinside Map for more location details). Fish Tales and Terminator 2 are there now, and we will bring in High Speed and Pot 'O' Gold (1965). All ages welcome, participate in all four dates for single pay of $10 adults and $5 kids. Format will depend on number of participants, most likely will be using MatchPlay to set up four person games on each machine each week. Message me, Wendy, with questions. Have A Flippin' Fantastic Day!

    Hey pinball friends.

I’m looking to change my lineup a little.

    GNR left today.
Beatles is on the block and AMH will be next.

    Good times!

    #5575 9 months ago

    A successful few days.

GNR and Beatles are gone and I just made a deal for AMH.

    Empty spaces…

Was AMH your longest lasting game?

    #5577 9 months ago

    It was number 3.
Star Trek and C-37 were 1 and 2.

    #5578 9 months ago

I have a Meteor that is looking for a home once I finish with a couple of mods for the Meteor 2021 game code...

I have a buyer for your Star Trek LE when you are ready to part with it. Get some more space and do my friend a favor, you would be helping two people as I have yet another friend who wants to buy my first friend’s current Star Trek Pro…which he will only sell if he gets an LE.

    Where did your GNR go?

    #5580 9 months ago

    Daryl got GNR
Star Trek LE is not leaving anytime soon.

    #5581 9 months ago

Congrats on AMH… I knew it would move

Came home with a game from the long term wishlist today. Who can guess what’s in the back of the vehicle:

Long day of moving pins around today. Even moved a game for my dad. Special thank you to Jodester for helping my dad. Speaking of Jodester, he solved another major pin problem that vexed literally the top restoration guy in the pinball industry (more on Jodester’s incredible work on that front next week when I get that game he brought back to life set up again).

Anyway, the game in the armor we brought in yesterday and moved in to the collection today has been my grail game for what seems like forever… LOTRs was a very good guess, that is certainly another game I have wanted to add to the collection for a long time, but the new machine is:

Took our family to SFGE and my 6 year old won 4th place. He was elated. He’s in red and there were 20+ players. Just bragging on him. I still suck at pinball myself. Lol

I’m totally in for hitting this show next year. How hard is it to book at the event hotel? Maybe we can get a group from Louisiana up there.

Anyone have pictures from this year’s SFGE? Anyone else from the club want to go next year?

    #5596 8 months ago

We booked there with no issues. Booked in May and major discount at host hotel for SFGE guest. Friday Through Sunday was $400

    #5597 8 months ago

When did you guys make your TPF reservations? I just got the email today at 9:30 that said they were available and they are completely sold out already!!

    #5598 8 months ago

I got a room but, while she was booking it, they went from available to sold out and she had to call someone to give her the ok to release a room so she could finish my booking. I called as soon as I got the email.

Oh, please do come! They have started adding a lot of tournaments, and there is always other activities we do. We like the tabletop games, themed dances (90s homecoming this time), video game tournaments, eating challenges, even wraslin'!!!

Saw the e-mail for TPF room reservations and found out the hard way they were sold out. Got my reservation set up right down the street in walking distance at the same place I stayed this year.
