If anyone sees a monster bash backboard for sale over there let me know
Driving up and over to Frisco, Tx Fri morning and afternoon from Lafayette, LA. Looking fwd to TPF 2022 and hanging out w/ friends.
I will try to help keep Mudflaps upright. Maybe strap him to a 2-wheeled dolly later in the evenings, and move him around from machine to machine.

I will need two handlers during the day and at least three after five o’clock.
Quoted from Dent00:I watched Jessica Thaxton win the ladies event this morning at TPF on stream.
It was epic.
Just saw that on Facebook. Truly fantastic news!!!! Congrats Jessica!
Hey friends
This was a great show. I’m totally exhausted, but home and unpacked now.
Two trips to In-N-Out Burger (Henry’s new favorite), two trips to Hard Eight, one trip to Holy Grail Pub (I will go back) and hotel shuttle to the coffee and gelato place down the street.
I saw lots of friends and made some new ones. Dave angus brought two Pinsiders for their first TPF. Brent
bajm and Matt

I didn’t get a lot of pics, but here are a few. Trey brought home his total grail dream game, a new Rush Pro.

Quoted from Nevus:Matt and Aaron’s booth was huge and was a good place to find fiends and sit for a second.
Yup, fiends were hanging out at Matt’s booth! Band of misfits!

Shout out to Back Alley Creations.
There is a "SOLD" written on the little card in lower right corner of the Flash Gordon machine.
Rumor has it that it was purchased by a Louisiana pinball guy.
An Addams Family with black & white artwork, ...and 4 pinball guys.
And a pic of normal happy Jessica on Sat night, the night "before" she played in the TPF women's tournament.
I don't have any pics of her "after" she played in the women's tourney.
Hopefully someone will post a pic here also.
I played a lot of pinball in the free play area, didn't enter any tournaments, missed most of the guest speaker presentations.
Congrats to Preston for finishing in 3rd place in the main TPF Wizards Tournament.
Quoted from Pinball-is-great:I don't have any pics of her "after" she played in the women's tourney.
Here are a couple of after pics. We were so excited!

Congratulations!!! Did you get an autograph too?
I got the Flash Gordon. Will be LEDing and ready-rubbering it hopefully this weekend as I have 4 games from Charlie’s’ Amusements that I’m trying to finish first.
Quoted from Pinball-is-great:Guess I had an "epic" game on Hot Wheels at TPF.
Hope Mudflaps is proud of me.[quoted image]

I will always be proud of you, even if you played Hot Wheels.
Spent a few hours at PHOF in Vegas, and spoke to Tim timarnold for a few minutes.
Yeah, many of the machines were turned off. But many many many more were good to play. Including The Mandalorian (Pro),
Godzilla (Pro), and
Rush (Pro).
I saw at least a couple techs trying to work on things, but sheeeeesh what a job. It was a Tuesday afternoon/evening, and even then, there were LOTS of folks playing and the coin-drop looked pretty great!
Tim said his biggest challenges are keeping more machines in service, negotiating additional parking, and a property line problem the lawyers and insurance company are hashing out.
I've been to Vegas 3 times and visited the PHOF in a different location each time. This is their final location according to Tim, and I believe it.
They've done quite a job here, and BRAVO! Bitch if you like, but first, try to accomplish all this yourself!
PHOF is becoming an EVEN MORE must-see attraction in Vegas for ALL. Not just us pinheads! Thank you timarnold !
If anyone is curious, I’ve done some coin door mounts when upgrading a few of my games to insider connected.
Here’s the post where I have pics.
I am putting my JJP GNR LE up for sale if anyone is interested. It has about 300 plays and doesn’t have any playfield issues. Nothing wrong with it, it’s just not my type of game. It’s basically brand new, I’m asking 10K, this is a pretty good savings off NIB. If anyone is interested, you are welcome to come look and play. If I don’t get any bites here, I’ll try some local Facebook groups next and then to Pinside. I would rather deal in person, I do not want to ship. If you are interested or know someone who might be send me a message.
Thanks.
Pinball Hall of Fame visit in Las Vegas.
They have almost all of the modern games right up to Rush, but I really enjoy playing the lesser seen EMs.
Here are a few games I enjoyed, plus a picture of non-working Going Nuts for Edwin. Also, I got a new hat.

...and thank you to TigerLaw and Pavball for hosting a fun night of playing pinball with friends and pirates.
Quoted from Pinball-is-great:A few pics from THE LAKE CHARLES PIRATE TOURNEY that was held last Fri night:
The Heskett family really made my weekend with those outfits. Lots of fun on Friday night.
PavBall and I put our Tron at the office today and brought Safecracker home…so Tron will be in the next tourney at that location. We’ve really amassed some fantastic tourney games at that location.
PavBall and I are hoping to have a Romp in the Swamp sometime this year…just not sure when, we have 16 games at the house now…more than we ever had at the old house we hosted the Romp events from.

Those are some nice and shiny EMs! If you find you need a King Tut of your own (or
Super Score ,
Wild Wild West ) let me know. Mine aren't as polished, but generally play well.

A few good gameroom updates.
Evan came to town yesterday and he got all of the games working and playing well.
At TPF, Franchi was giving out signed cards if you owned one of his games. I got one for Beatles.
A few Rush mods installed and lastly a coin door install for Beatles insider connected.

The D-Day Memorial Tournament - at Paul Heard’s home - is being changed from Saturday, June 4 to Saturday, June 11 due to a scheduling conflict for the tourney director. I have changed the entry on Pinside but will need the IFPA’s permission to officially change the date. I will email them.
The small Sunday, June 5th tourney at the office is going to move forward as planned. Tron has replaced Safe Cracker, to stay in compliance with IFPA rules on tourney games.

I was on it to but again missed out...someone got a good one.
Quoted from action76:OK, who snagged the Congo on Facebook? My son was second to contact of course. That was a heck of a deal!
I tried. Sent a message about 40 minutes after the add was put up with sold and I can pickup tonight. Didn’t hear back until this morning and thought I was second as i sure let them know that I could still come today if the other buyer backed out.
Quoted from TigerLaw:I didn’t see it. How much was it listed for?
Deal of the day.
Quoted from PoBoyPinball:Deal of the day.
You might have actually lucked out. At that price, it could be a trap to capture someone’s kidney.

For that price, I would have taken that chance. I'm packing heat!
Not too much. Just been cleaning and repairing on several of Charlie's games in the Shreveport/Bossier City area.
