I figured James wasn’t going to part with his Nine Ball (I wouldn’t either), so I decided to lurk in the Nine Ball club thread.

After quite a while, the right one came along. This collector restores his own games. He had loved it long enough and it was time to move on. It came from the East coast.

    Looks great Scott! Enjoy it!

We’ve been having a lot of late night Pinball over the past seven days. GnR and Elvira are by far and away the most popular games in our collection with new players, kind of a toss up between those two. There is a wave of people in LC looking to purchase their first machine, hopefully we will get our league going again soon as well.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at HAAG. It was a fun game I only played a few games on it. Try to spread the love and play most all of the games. If you’re ever in San Antonio and get a chance I recommend stopping in at What’s Brewing.

    #5359 2 years ago

Great pics Tiger. Looks like a lot of fun.

Was in SA this past week visiting my mother and can't recommend What's Brewing enough. Every machine I played seemed to be in great working order, priced fairly and best of all - what a great collection. At least a dozen machines I'd either never played before or hadn't seen in many many years.

Coffee was top notch as well.

Anyone in the market for a nice Gorgar? A friend of mine in Shreveport has one that he is thinking of selling. The playfield and back glass are both 10/10 with new rubbers and LEDs. He isn’t sure of a price yet and will most likely put up a marketplace ad if he can’t sell it locally.

Gorgar is awesome, and a really important historical game in pinball. Wish I had room.

First pinball with speech. It only said a few words and short phrases but in some respects, it was the start of the modern pinball age.

Hi everyone! I'm from Cleveland, but I'm visiting family in Picayune,MS and Houma, LA through December 11th. Was wondering if there is any place to play in those areas, and if there are any tourneys I can join. Thanks!

    2200 asking price
also, from the agent "ball doesn't always pop up on the playfield, flippers work most of the time but need new rubber. bumpers, voice works sometimes (not sure what that means - doesn't have voice) lights up mostly, backglass and body is in great condition"

You better buy it she just told me $4200 unless I miss understood her but she said it more then once to me. Probably repeated it after hearing the thump when I feel on the floor.

interesting. well mine was from a text message, so unless she had a typo that was the starting price. If I was a couple hours closer I'd have sent her the money and went and picked it up. She sent me some different pics - backglass appears to have a little flaking, and didn't get a clear pic of the pf, but it looks to be in good shape. Hope someone that will play it picks it up - a very fun game.

I think there was actually a permanent sign near a small town, I think Ferriday, Louisiana, that read something like "beware of speed trap". And the name of the guy that put up the sign was on it.

My wife went all out for Christmas and made me a ton of stuff for the Pinball machines. Most everything you see here’s custom made by her except for the shooter rods of course even the Guns N’ Roses scull and action button guns are created from scratch and painted by her. Working on getting them installed today.
