Quoted from EasternBloc:What do you do when there’s no power, water or heat for a week? Load up the family and drive to Wisconsin! Rick and Morty en route to the Tensas Parish dimension...
[quoted image]
...and the wife is smiling!! She must know she has some SERIOUS shoe shopping coming her way! Lol
I'm just waiting to see a shot of a pinball pickup where the S.O. looks like they are about to book the family on Jerry Springer so they can "hash it out"
Quoted from angus:I've not seen one of those before either. looks fun. Did it have a big flipper gap? It is a John Trudeau game.
Flipper gap seemed fine. Stephen said it was low production. I liked it because of the unusual asymmetry. Although an 80s game, there is digital organ music that plays. Not groundbreaking, but different and fun.
1585 Ice Fevers were made. That one is a beauty! Really nice condition. Of course I love the hockey theme.

The music on Ice Fever sounded like hockey music that they play at hockey games when you score a goal.
I went to one hockey game in New Jersey one time for some devils or something, so I have heard it.
Hockey is not really a thing here in Mississippi, as far as I know.
You have to drop 3 targets in front of the goal and hit the captive ball to score.
:
Genie works now also.
I managed to drop all the red targets and hit the extra ball standup target one time. And it works...
That game sort of reminds me of Paragon with the wide body and left bumper that can drain on one path.
Quoted from TigerLaw:I’m super jealous, I haven’t made a pinball event since early 2019.
Early 2020 you meant to say. I didn’t know about this Mississippi event. Would have been way more fun than Toledo Bend. We will make the next one.
We are revamping the collection a bit everyone. Last year we sold Sorcerer, Target Alpha, XMen, TWD, and AFM...but added Elvira3, BKSOR, and Shrek. A TMNT Pro should arrive tomorrow. Sold our Metallica last week, selling Solar Ride, BM66 and TNA. Tiger wants to get both Godzilla and Queen when they are released, which he believes are the next two in a row from Stern. We are trying to get a GnR LE also.
So, action76 came to Lake Charles today with his wonderful wife to pick up BM66. We are still hanging out and playing, but gosh we moved around some machines tonight...loaded up BM66 in his vehicle, put Varkon back where we had it originally, unboxed TMNT, and then...the big dog...brought Metallica down the stairs so I could deliver it to the buyer...this was a bigger task than we had in mind...five guys (two of them engineers) here and we figured it out.

We had a lot of fun picking this one up! Thank you to Tigerlaw and Pav for being wonderful hosts for our quick visit. I wish we could have stayed longer, but it looks like we got out of town just in time because someone had to call the Ghostbusters. It is all setup and ready to go now.
Hey everyone! Just came across this group. I’m in SE Houston. Just got into pinball last year( better late than never). I currently own four machines.
Is there anyone here who can do a repair service call on an early solid state Bally near Bush (Bogalusa, Covington/Northshore)?
The right flipper switch needs to be adjusted.
Added 24 months ago:Thanks again to the few replies I received.
I was able to talk the people through adjusting the cabinet flipper switch so the current issue has been fixed.
Quoted from scottslash:That's a nice foursome Quick . Welcome!
Thanks. Trying to make it five. And then six ect. Lol!
I am about to list a Terminator 2 that was HUO for almost all its life. PM if interested

Deal in confidence with this fellow. He’s one of the good guys.

Welcome to the club! We normally are a very active club with lots of events, though Covid has temporarily ended those events. I think we are quickly approaching the finish line for that though and hope to be holding tournaments and parties by summer time.
Had a visit from Keith Holbrook today, delivering his latest master piece. We now have a full row of Holbrook restored classic Stern’s.
Quoted from action76:That is a beautiful set of classic Sterns!
Thank you! I cannot believe I sold Dragon Fist...it would look so good with those others.
Probably the only classic stern I would look to ad right now would be a Star Gazer. Would send one of those off for a restoration job fast, but they just don’t come up on the market at all. I don’t think I even know anyone who has one...
Moved another pin down with the escalara. TNA is heading out of state. Gotta say, but for the advice of Nevus and some others to get that escalara I think I’d be dead. 4597AAD8-6583-4238-A2BE-4D1AD42D9FF5 (resized).jpeg

Howdy Pinball Friends.
Yesterday, I went to DFW and dropped off GAMATRON with Keith Holbrook. Next stop, Hard Eight Ft Worth and it was awesome. I capped the trip picking up GNR.
Today, I played some Games with Aaron and then James came by while out and about. All in all, a good few days of pinball.
Hey pals
Yes GnR is fantastic. I’m very happy with it. Game room door is always open for my friends. Just let me know if you want to come by on a weekend etc and we can have some pinball fun.
For those of us that enjoy wondering what’s next, I have found this Pinsider to be very accurate in his predictions. Check out his thread from a year or so back with some current updates.
If this is true, I’m excited to see what can be done with Rush.
Quoted from Nevus:If this is true, I’m excited to see what can be done with Rush
At this moment I’d be a buyer for both Mando and Godzilla, possibly premiums of both depending on how they look. Im a bit worried Godzilla is going to be based on the 70’s IP...I’d prefer the newer stuff. Looks like Stern will only do three cornerstone games this year by what he’s saying.
Interesting he has no guess on Spooky. Many are saying it’s Scooby Doo.

I’m so glad. I’ve got one coming soon and really can’t wait, I’m already considering whether to pick up some mods for it and bling it out a bit. What do you think about the black mirror blades or that skull housing around the shooter?
Quoted from Nevus:Skull is personal taste. I haven't decided. Aaron feels like the sides are pretty tight on GnR. I do wish they had a little more room. I am a fan of mirror blades.
If Aaron thinks it’s too tight for mirror blades I’ll avoid putting them in. Scratched mirror blades are not the best looking thing in a game. I’m feeling GnR is going to be a long term keeper, I’m going to mod it. Just not sure with what.
Who all is getting a Mandolorian (assuming all these people are correct and it’s announcement is imminent). PavBall and I are absolutely in for the Mando. Already have the spot ready for both GnR and Mando.

I have these and they work great. My Alice Cooper is so tight on the right side but these make it impossible to scratch the blades. Highly recommend..

Guys...trust what Chris is saying on the sideblades/mirror blades for GNR. I didn't use the included side protectors when I lifted the playfield on my GNR CE on day one and well...all I can say is I ordered a new set of side art blades..lol. I just cannot understand why instead of requiring us to use special side art protectors to lift your playfield they just don't set the cnc on the cabinet design to give you 1/8" more room to solve this issue...seems crazy to me, but what do I know..lol. Just beware with whatever you choose to use on your JJp games as my Wonka CE was exactly the same way.
For those in the Shreveport/Bossier City area, I've been checking out the pinballs on location on the pinmap. Unfortunately, we've lost 12 locations since ICHIGOKUROSAKI91 updated the map in 2016. Still have a couple of locations to check in downtown Shreveport before I’m all done. The good news is all the games I’ve run across are a pretty good condition.
I’m seeing some truly crazy prices this year. I would not have guessed that the best prices of 2021 are NIB @ MSRP.
There are new listings daily for unrestored borderline projects at high end restoration prices. It doesn’t bother me per se, I’m just surprised some of them are selling.
At some point, the market has to saturate.

Or higher NIB prices are more likely.. Stern pros starting with the number 5 in the front will be a memory very soon.

Sad, but true. Once we start having shows again, good deals can be had on show games.
I visited the Captain's Wearhouse in Anaheim, California yesterday and played for about 4 hours, while I was in the area working.
Social distancing and masks were required.
Almost no one there except me.
I snapped one photo.
I played Led Zeppelin, Avengers IQ, Heist and many others.
