Quoted from cosmokramer:This took about 4 years to accumulate, my wife and I both tossing in loose change at the end of the day.
I will post the weight on friday night and then post the final tally on Saturday.
The bank has a counting machine (I just need to call ahead and make sure it is working) and dont charge a percentage if you have an account there.
I've not seen a coin counter in a bank but don't go into banks much. That sure would be convenient to unload all coins like that. My method is dumping them into the self checkout machines at the grocery store. I always need something at the store so does not take long to unload a bunch.
Quoted from Electrocute:Is it your best guess without going over?
....and give them 10%? Think I’ll just let my pile of change continue to grow.
Nope. Self checkout machines accept coins. I buy stuff and pay cash in all coins. No fees.
