I'm not to sure how much is there but you really sld go threw at least the quarters and dimes. Anything older than 1965 is 90 percent silver and much more valuable than face value...like 1.50 a dime and quarter around 4.50. Also may have some rarer coins worth money. I'd definitely pull the silver tho as its going to go way up over the next 5 or so years.

1965 and 1966 for Canadian dimes and quarters too. Not as much silver but worth more than face value.

There were some silver 1968 Canadian coins which were 50% silver compared to 80% for 1967 and prior. Most 1968 coins were nickel.

Oh damn, I was only off by $62.15. You had a little higher quarter ratio than I expected.
For reference, if that 99-pound bag had been ALL quarters, it would have been worth just shy of $2,000. It looked like it was almost but not quite half quarters... so the ratio of dimes (lightweight!) vs pennies (heavier but worthless!) and Nickels (like a quarter but also worthless!) was the real wildcard.

Nope. Self checkout machines accept coins. I buy stuff and pay cash in all coins. No fees.
The 89 rejected coins were put through a few times...only 17 were ultimately not accepted totaling $2.16

The bank has a counting machine (I just need to call ahead and make sure it is working) and dont charge a percentage if you have an account there.
Avg of .86 cents per day added over the 4 years.
That was fun. I was only $128.25 off.
I remember years back I had two Growlers full of coins and I cashed them in to go to the casino for my buddy's bachelor party, it got me over $900...
