Joined the club today, and have a question about the code. When downloading the code from Stern's website, two .spk files are downloaded.

Does it matter which is used? I downloaded both to my USB, but then the game gave me the choice of which one to use.

Sorry, still a newbie.

Quoted from C0untDeM0net:

That is odd. The zip file usually has two files in it that you copy to the usb drive.

Yeah not sure what the deal was.

However, I am running Cleland's sound mod, and I have since realized that I don't need to update via USB at all... Just plug & play his latest on the SD card (I think). So my question is a non-issue now.

Quoted from C0untDeM0net:

Turn the trough eject down to the lowest setting. I do that on all my games even the ones with cliffy's as it hits hard by default.
Speaking of cliffy's, what about the scoop protection? I heard it messes with the ball trajectories in a negative way but I can definitely seeing that needing protection.

New owner here as well, and was wondering about added protection. The scoop worries me the most. I'm still a few months into this and have never added Cliffys. They make a scoop protector?

Quoted from Green-Machine:

Cliff doesn’t make them. But like C-Note said pinball life has them. They even call them Cliffys but they are not made by mister Cliffy himself. Not sure how they get by with calling them by the name.

Thanks! Got it ordered.

Issue with the Orb shot on my GOTG Pro I noticed tonight.

The game starts with the Orb drop target down. It looks like it "tries" to pop up, but it won't. When I hit the orb shot the same thing happens, it makes a subtle sound but it doesn't catch or register as a shot.

Any thoughts/ideas?

Quoted from DaddyManD:

Wonder if the Orb standup target switch in the back of the orb lock or orb is stuck in the "active" or "on" position? Sometimes its just a matter of minor adjustment to the switch. Worth checking in the active switch test menu. You would just got into active switch test and see if it is registered "on" and then press it to see if it triggers. On Stranger Things my demogorgan wasn't registering hits. Thought it was the optos but in the end it had to do with the switches for ramp being down were stuck in "on" position. Minor adjustment to switch with needle-nose fixed it. Could be another issue though.

Appreciate the help!
