Also the hexagonal shapes on both sides go nuts when it’s in the pops and during multiballs. I personally like the integration. The color changes per character are subtle and look better in darker rooms but is totally there.

Quoted from bailorgana:Fellow Ravagers, Groot needs your help!
Has anyone had Groot need to do 2 ball searches before starting multiball? I'm thinking its switch related, but I'm just checking to see if anyone has experience with this before I start rooting around... it was happening to me almost every time on the 2nd go round (4 balls locked) but now its happening on the normal 3 balls locked version too.
I was having what I thought was Groot issues (searches and whatnot) but it actually turned out to be magnetic balls. Easy thing to check... take the balls out and see if ANY of them are drawn to a paper clip. Good luck!
Quoted from rwmech5:Anyone know where to get a new set of ramps?
I’d try Stern or your distributor as the game is not archived yet on Stern’s site. So parts should be available.
Quoted from heyitsjoebob:I took the arms off my Premium. I wanna see those spinners rip!
Can you show us some pictures without the arms? Although I do like the arms, I am curious to see how it looks...
Quoted from heyitsjoebob:Sorry it took so long![quoted image][quoted image]
No worries - thanks for the pictures! It’s nice to get a good look at those spinners... sucker for spinners.
Quoted from kermit24:Hey guys! New club member here. Does anyone know if the lockdown bar plate is available anywhere?

Stern should have it - still in production... ask your distributor.
Quoted from mcvetyty:Hey there - Apologies in advance if this has been covered, but trying to search for 'groot' and "mouth" on this thread is a nightmare. I'm having an issue where groot can't shut his mouth on his first try. It takes him like 3-4 cycles before it eventually stops, and even then there's a slight gap. I've inspected the mechanism and can't really see anything that would cause this. Anyone else ever experience this? Any suggestion? Thanks!
I’d check it out in test mode and make sure it moves from open to close and back correctly. It sounds like you may have an issue where the switch isn’t closing at one or both positions. On the mech, I believe it’s a rollover switch... make sure it clicks when the mech moves over it. If it doesn’t, the CPU won’t know where it isn’t and tries to re-find a home...
Quoted from mcvetyty:Appreciate the suggestion! I actually couldn't locate the test for it. Any idea what section its in? Is it a coil?
Edit: found it! Didn’t realize there was a category for machine specific tests. Thanks!
Sorry - should have mentioned... diag->game specific...
Quoted from TheShaft:I’m looking at possibly trying to get a neglected gotg from a local arcade, it’s in pretty rough shape. Is it possible to find an entire new groot sculpt? His upper lip is smashed in. Sorry, not a great pic, it’s a zoomed in photo of my 7 year old proudly entering her initials.

Yes, stern is still producing these and you can get the head (and chin) thru your distributor. The chin is $30 and the head, I think was around $130 (not quite sure b/c I was just looking for the chin). That should give you ballpark.
Quoted from Nelsonford218:I do have that, but that is just how often it shakes, not the intensity
Go into game specific features - I think it’s towards the end so you can go backwards…
Quoted from RyanStl:Does anybody have suggestions on a cool shooting rod they like?
[quoted image]
I’m a huge fan of this guys shooter rods. They look great but more importantly feel amazing!
