Quoted from GravitaR:

Owner's, how can this problem be fixed. Covering up the inlane / outlane entrance like this, why do designers do it?
*Pic borrowed from FaceBook

Absolutely agree that this is beyond lame. Plus, this game drains a lot out the left side, and limited vision really sucks.

Quoted from Frax:

Simple....remove the groot decal. All you're going to be left with is the flasher body and the ramp plastic, which is see-through.

That flasher is still going to be a problem.

Quoted from DCFAN:

That is great to hear that you are not finding the inlane/outlane view obstructed. After seeing the picture again where the camera is set back behind the lock bar it does appear the decal and flasher are far enough up the playfield beyond the lane divide to provide a decent view.

I don’t agree. I’ve played the game about 20 times. I’m 6’ 1”, and it partially blocks my damn view. Not 100%, But enough to be problematic. The plastic is stupid, and poorly designed. Maybe if I played on stool, or on my knees, or stretched way back from the machine, or was a “wee man” it would bother me less. But having to occasionally bend around to get a totally clean look is sub optimal.

Quoted from Mister_Furious:

My LE arrived, cliffy came installed on scoop. Is there anything you guys want me to check for?

Only that all those screws on the scoop plastic in that picture are nice and tight. And not rusty.

Jeez, I can’t believe Stern sells an LE for $8k bucks with exposed screws like that. I like Stern and I like the game (GOTG), but this is just cheap ass shit.

Two new songs announced for next update!
In the upcoming GOTG code update, you will find "I want you back" by the Jackson 5 1969 and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell 1967!
Very cool!

Pretty sweet. Wish it were Dancing Machine, but I guess it needs to be on the Awesome Mix.

Quoted from hank527:

On mine the right flipper goes week. It's very inconsistent.
Does anyone else have this issue?

I play one on route and the right flipper got weak. I thought it was mechanical but maybe code related?

You liking it any better?

Quoted from PW79:

Guys I can see the ribbing on my Aerosmith, Family Guy & TSPP
It’s more visible on my Aerosmith because the clear is thicker & the LED’s are WAY brighter.
I turned down my back box lighting on Aerosmith to reduce glare on the glass & a side effect of that is I am now unable to see the ribbed texture of the playfield.
The actual surface of the PF is glass smooth & not ribbed. It’s the wood under the clear that has a ribbed appearance under certain lighting conditions at certain angles.
I’m not a Stern apologist at all but I don’t know if we’re all on the same page about what is going on here. Not all PF’s have this trait but many many games do & lots of folks are likely unaware it’s there IMO.

This is not uncommon. My SM had this and my IM does to some degree. It’s not planking and it’s not defective. It’s the grain of the wood. I’m sure many owners would notice this on some of their games. It’s not on all games.

All these new board reports are a drag. Are these boards made so cheaply that this will be a chronic issue? Or is this a bad batch?

Quoted from rvdv:

Not sure if anyone had this but flippers get very weak or don’t have power at all after intense flipping ??

Flip less intensely. Kidding aside, this is a real issue with this game. It sucks.

This tactic will be soul crushing if achievable in Tournament or league play

May god have mercy on your soul.

Someone on Pinside has posted pictures of GoTG with the pooling issue. I have no idea how common it is, but there’s at least one that has it...and that means more probably do too.

Who’s had problems with Groots mouth not opening? What was the problem and how did you fix it!

Can hear motor, but no movement.

Thanks.
