Does anyone know what the difference is when you change the “Abort Animations” adjustment from one, all, or none ? I have selected all three but I cannot tell any difference in the game.
Love the hands. Not an issue at all. So glad I got a Premium. I put on the side art inside the cabinet. Changes the game. Such good quality and design. I did the plastic protectors on the slings and outlanes. I’m also looking for custom instruction cards. Also looking for a baby Groot toy I can use the head for a shooter rod. I haven’t seen any of the made ones that I like. Waiting for the topper to be released.
Quoted from DugFreez:I am not sure on the fine points on the "one" adjustment, but basically what abort animation means is you can hit both flipper buttons during the game and it will cut some display animations and callouts short.
An example would be a ball goes in a scoop that awards a mystery award. Normally the ball goes in there and the display and sound effects go through a sequence showing the different awards and finally rests on the reward you get...then the game shoots the ball out. If you have the "Abort Animation" turned on...you can hit both flipper buttons and it will skip all of the rigamarole and just show the award and shoot the ball back out. It basically allows you to skip certain animation sequences.
I am so used to it, it sometimes drives me nuts if a game doesn't have this...especially at the end of a ball when it is counting the bonuses and what not. I'm there banging away on both flipper buttons and I still have to sit and watch the drawn out end of ball sequence. It's especially frustrating after a crap ball.
Thanks for the great explanation.
Installed a shaker but it never operates during game play. Is that a code issue and it is not set up? I checked that it is plugged in and tight. Anyone have a working shaker ?
My speakers sound great. Thank goodness.
We really like the game a lot (as much as we can with I complete code). Full code and future updates will really propel this pin to a top favorite.
***figured out my shaker issue***
Hard for the shaker to work when you have the wire pulled snug under the cover right against the spinning weight. Works perfect now
Also... Picked up some small synthetic vines, leaves, and a flower resembling the one Groot have the little girl in the first movie. Should be some good detail Mods to add to Groots head, arms and hands (in moderation). Will post pics when installed.
Topper just arrived !!! Can’t install it until this weekend but initial opinions are :
Very heavy and sturdy
Well built.
Lots of boards and mechanisms inside black housing so it must do something neat. (Better for $399)
Two plugs in the back. Should be an easy and clean install.
Can’t wait to install it. Will post
Pics on a Sunday and an explanation of what it does.

Topper is mounted and working. Height is 9”. Easiest install of any topper I’ve ever added. Unscrew 4 screws on top of the head, set the topper on the head, screw those 4 back in. Ruby the wires down the built in hole. Plug the two plugs into spaces shown.
Side honeycomb areas flash in a fast pattern. Center area rotated through different LED colors. Interestingly, all lights shut off on the topper during game play. They start back up once your last ball drains. Did not notice anything during game play. Not sure if this is a setting or a code issue or that’s just the ABCs of the topper. My .02.... Very happy with it. Maybe a tad overpriced from what I see now. Great construction. Would buy it again. Finishes off the game nicely. Tried to post a video but no luck. If anyone knows how to do that, PM your email address and I’ll email you the video and you can post.
