Quoted from bobukcat:Those look great, if I didn't already have the Stern art blades I'd consider putting in a set.
Same here.
Looks fantastic. I have a similar set of blades on my IM and it’s the best of both worlds: art & mirror.

Hello.. looking at the Mezel mod ramp illumination. Do you have to buy two? One for each ramp.. so $48 vs $24. Or does the kit come with lights for both? Thanks.

Reading the description, it should cover both ramps. You could also spend $6 with Comet and achieve the same effect.

All you need is the 4-in ones. 2 of them. Cheap.
Getting ready to throw a shaker in this weekend. I bought a Star Wars Pro at the same time, so this weekend is dedicated to adding a few mods to both.
Guardians is getting a shaker, lenticular/3d apron cards, and external subwoofer. Star Wars is getting equal treatment as well. Both are such fun games.
Quoted from DaddyManD:Looks like Stern is methodically updating code for games with some polish, some new features, etc. cleland a lot of us are running your MUST HAVE code and was wondering if you would consider updating it when/if a new GOTG code comes out?
Yup, Stern and a certain "Senior Systems Engineer" have it out for Pinball Browser and our ability to customize our pinball experience.
It's really up to the author of Pinball Browser to keep updating, and I know it's as frustrating for him as it is for us.
Quoted from ralphwiggum:Lenticular is installed and in action....
Shaker and sub going in now.
Those are pretty cool, where did you got those?

Thanks, I made them.. I threw them in my store if you want to see a couple of still pictures of them. They are a pain to make and take a ton of time, but the results are really cool. They are hard to photograph properly though.

I'm not seeing them in the store. I need some good apron cards for my GOTG, JP, and RBION. I know I could print them myself, but I'll admit, I'm not terribly computer savvy with these type things, and I'm just lazy.

Hmmm, not sure why. Do they show up with this link?

I have other GOTG cards there as well.

Are these printed on clear material that would allow for backlighting them with an EL panel, etc.?
Quoted from bobukcat:Are these printed on clear material that would allow for backlighting them with an EL panel, etc.?
No, but I could probably make that happen, I have EL paper I can test with. A lot of the effect is lost when the bottom is clear. With a solid bottom like these, the effect is dramatic. I have some high resolution special clear paper, I will post here once I print some up to see how it looks.
The lenticular lense is very particular about paper type and resolution.
Hi,
I am back to the club , this time with a LE.
I can’t remember that my pro was that dark , I have to add some spotlights.
Did anyone change the color of the trim on the LE ?
Would like to see if there is a color that better fits then the gold.
Attempt #2 fellows- help a brother out!
Looking for series of pics or short vid of both the groot mouth motor and the orb motor.
Can anyone help me trouble shoot my LE orb mechanism not working properly? For starters a short vid of a close up of your “scissors / spring / motor” working in test mode would be amazing. Apologies if this has been covered, if so, please point me to.
I think I’ve been having physical clearance problems and that caused my driver board to go bad- which I already replaced, but I see now it might be that I need to bend or physically adjust something (MAYBE). Thanks in advance.
The manual isn’t much help and can’t get phone support with stern during pandemic- fair enough.

Mission accomplished, my special transparent paper supports 600DPI....
Backlit with 5 volt EL Paper sheet....

Nothing? No pics/vids of the orb mech or groot mouth mech under the pf?

So, have my GotG up and running and trying out several mixes.
The Cleland ofcourse at first.
Dont know what to expect from a Spike in regard to sound quality but am not very impressed. Already swapped out the crappy Stern for a better set but still not impressed. Am I over expecting? Have fiddled with the audio settings to get some improvement. Just dont know if I am overexpecting or something is wrong. Was there not a series of SPike boards with an audio issue?
Quoted from Tiltbob:[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
thanks, that’s obviously in up closed position... any chance of a few angles in down position?
Bonus points if it is blurry.
Also need orb just as importantly.
I’m wondering if I have a node board problem

Unfortunately I can’t help with the Orb, I have a pro

Try the Kenwood speakers and anything is fine
Hello all! I am currently in the market for a GOTG pin and am leaning towards buying the pro as the upgrades on the premium don't seem to be worth the extra money for me. However I am a big fan of RBG LED lighting when coded correctly and was reading on the features matrix that the pro is missing RGB LED multicolor pop bumpers, RGB LED lighting for inserts, and red, white, and blue lighting in the GI.
Can these lights be upgraded after market as the code is already written or is a different board or something required to initiate the change in colors on the lights?
Cheers,
David

Unfortunately I can’t answer your question. But just curious if you have played both the pro and the premium?

I guess it's theoretically possible to upgrade the GI but the inserts (other than the arrows that are RBG on the Pro as well) are all colored on the pro playfield so you couldn't effectively put RBG in those anyway. The code is different between the two already because of the spinner and orb but I personally think the Pro is really great on this game and you won't miss much on it at all.

I totally agree. That is why I was asking if dferg24 had played both. The light show is really great on the pro.

I was just about to say "I've never played a premium, but I dont feel like I'm missing out on anything with my pro. The light show looks more than adequate ".

I bought my pro NIB so I tried them both out before buying the pro and I actually prefer the pro because I really don’t like the Groot arms at all. I didn’t even notice the difference in lighting
Quoted from bailorgana:Thanks for the link (https://pu-parts.com/guardians-of-the-galaxy-inside-art-blades)!!
I just emailed him. Asked if I could get multiples to distribute to the Ravagers here.
I'd be in for a set too.
Has anyone here 3D printed groot arms for the pro? I know you can buy them, but I enjoy making things when I can.
Quoted from heyitsjoebob:I took the arms off my Premium. I wanna see those spinners rip!
I think GeekedOnPinball might want your groot arms

Can you show us some pictures without the arms? Although I do like the arms, I am curious to see how it looks...
Has anyone installed an LED BACKBOX LIGHTING KIT in their pro?

Curious to see video... my friend has something similar in a refinery star trek pro and its pretty cool.
So I made the change to Cleland mod and noticed a different setting on Groot. I now have to hit the mouth lock three times and then it will open. I then hit the ball in three times to start multiball. I used to hit the mouth lock once, then it would open, and I would hit it in. I would repeat this three times to start multi ball. I know that this is a setting that can be adjusted. Can someone guide me?

My image uses all default settings, so you will probably have to go into game settings and adjust to your liking. I'm guessing on your game, the settings were altered.

Your code is awesome! There is family drama about this setting alteration. What kind of lock is the default?
Your music crushes the original! I got to figure this out!
Any plans for AIQ?
Hello team, my Guardians Pro keeps on saying tilt even though I am just playing normally. Any suggestions as to what is going on?

This came on at reboot.

I got that same error, but my flippers loose power when it happened.

I gotta ask....what's up with those speaker surrounds? It looks like they were one color (yellow???) and then painted another (green???).

They are orange fluorescent

LOL after 2 years and wanting to spice up the game, I added Stern Groot arms to my Pro!
