Paid my invoice this morning $6695. Seems like such a bargain with all the recent price hikes from every manufacturer.

Got all my mods ordered from MeZel mods earlier this week and I should have those before I get the game. Hopefully will get pingraffix mirrored decal blade’s quickly too! Just need to order some better back box speakers and maybe LED lights for them and I’m good, I think.

I need to rewatch the movies this weekend, it’s been a while since I’ve seen them.

Excited to get this pin!

Can someone, please, confirm that the official Stern premium/LE Groot arms will work and install on the pro?

I just ordered the official Stern Groot arms but I had to order from two different places to get the set.

My first time ordering body parts online

Also, can I add the spinners and will they
work with the pro code?

I can answer the SPINNER question for you... It's a bit of an installation to do so. I think a few folks have done so, talk to izzy if you need some guidance as I think he did it recently. The short answer is 1) PBL sells the bracket and switch assembly, maybe $30 or so. 2) It will fit on the left side if you grind an indent into the art plastic a bit. 3) You need to attach the bracket to the playfield which I think takes a single hole drilled into the wood, 4) The software does NOT directlysupport it, but it can be wired in parrallel to an existing playfield blade rollover switch.

You can make the arms fit BUT they wreck the game play because they block your view of certain shots and kinda suck because of it. I’ve seen people take them off of the premium.

My left flipper intermittently gets stuck in the up position, but once I hit the right flipper it releases and come back down. Seems to be an electrical related issue. I have check the wiring and mechanics and don't see any issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Basic troubleshooting - When it gets stuck in the up position, if you kill the power (or open the coin door if your machine as an interconnect switch) and it stays up, it is a mechanical issue. If as soon as you cut the power, it drops, it is an electrical issue.

My local distro had those for me to see (and even offered them to me for free, but I declined). The fit and finish is a little odd looking to my eye, and they still obstruct your view of some shots (see picture). Did you also notice they have a weird smell?

To each their own. I didn't care for them.

For the same money I would recommend the orb cast metal replacement from hooked on pinball. It is gorgeous in comparison to the stock Pro orb, and really well made. I have a side by side below.

The OEM sculpts do look better, but you are shooting blind which makes the game less fun.

I don't think the premium code is compatible with the pro. It won't boot.

Search this thread for spinners and you can see what people have done (it involves some work). You have to tie the spinner to a switch, so it does some weird game breaking stuff when they get installed.

We are ready. Was hoping to get a shipment notification today, not seeing getting it before the weekend if it’s not going out today. My older daughter is having surgery on Monday so it would be a nice distraction for us this weekend if it shows up!

I just spoke to Cointaker on the phone a little while ago. They said they should be receiving them at the warehouse (here near Stern) today or tomorrow.

I’m not sure on logistics and if they have machines that go direct to PA and machines that stay here at their warehouse near Stern. But, I’m picking up here because I’m local. So I hope I’ll be able to pick it up by tomorrow! Finger crossed!!!

Nice! Keep us posted. I think they ship from that warehouse that is near stern, makes no sense from a cost standpoint to ship to PA and then to the buyers

Those of you getting new machines are going to love it... I added Insider to mine about a week ago and it has been getting a ton of play in the house ever since. I'm not an incredible player or anything, but it is taking a while to rack up all the achievements. I've been playing a lot, and only have 51 out of 70 achievements.

Are you by any chance running the latest release of the Cleland code? I was thinking about putting IC on mine, leaving updates off so I could still get achievements and have the sound track I like, but would just miss out on home team.

I use the latest Cleland code. Makes the game so much better with all the music and VO lines from the films. I dont have insider connected on mine.
