Get the cleland code!
Quoted from J-Freeze:The code is fine, the only reason I could see them doing an update is to add DJ mixer, co-op, a challenge mode or online connectivity.
Along with pausing the timer while ball is in the pops or scoop. Pretty please....

Anyone have any experience removing a backbox from the sterns? I " might" have to do this when my GOTG gets here to be able to get it down my stairs.

One of your doors is too narrow? I had to do this to move a TOTAN into a study a couple of years ago. I suspect modern Stern is much easier to get this done due to the much simpler cabling. For TOTAN, I was able to remove the side hinges and mounting bolts and then TURN the head 60-70 degrees. I had to manage the cabling a bit to assure it wasn't being stressed, but not everything had to be unconnected. For Stern machines, there are still cables to manage, best to hear from someone that has done this on a modern Stern.

Very simple. There's hardly any cabling in the head.

Yeah 29 1/2 wide. and a tight hallway so hard to maneuver in.

Does it help to take the door of the hinges?
I'd like to see the audits fixed. The dumped audits are completely wrong and don't match what is in the ui.
Quoted from Markharris2000:Does it help to take the door of the hinges?
It might. The installed door usually narrows the 'usable' opening size. That said, if the opening is 28-inches, nothing you can do but swing the head. What is the actual size of the door opening itself? 28-inches? 30 or 32 inches?
A very happy customer here with awesome new mods for STh and GOTG! Wizmod customer service was super responsive to a few questions I had. Item shipped within 5 business days. As with some other folks here, item was with US customs in Miami airport for about 2 weeks (no fault of Wizmod!). Honestly, it was worth the wait! These Wizpanels exceeded my expectations and really give the game new life (never realized how big and bare those speaker panels were before and a great place to add art). Thanks, WizardMod I'll be back for more in the future)!

Does it make the game that much better?
Quoted from Markharris2000:Does it help to take the door of the hinges?
Not really the door hinges are in a good spot and arent really an issue . Its mostly the tight hallway which the doorway is across from. No wiggle room. So everything is a pain in the ass getting down there.

WOW!!!!! sold! already lining up what i " need " and want when my machine gets here. Obviously the plastic protectors , but THIS looks sick!!!

It's really not even close, when I hear a GOTG with the stock audio (usually on location or on a Twitch video) I do a double take. If one of the Cleland ones isn't completely your cup of tea you can also try the applejuice mix.

How did you make it faster MG? Just sped up the music or something else?
I’m rocking the Applejuice mod. I like the mix of original and added music, but I also have the Cleland on a separate SD card.

I found good covers for alot of Songs and replaced them. So it Sounds more "Adrenalin pumping" and fits the faster gameplay.

I'd be interested to know what songs your version features.
No it doesn’t block the view like the ones on the premiums these are made shorter they look great there is a video on utube on them being installed
Quoted from MightyGrave:I worked a bit on the Guardians of the Galaxy and made my own Sound Mod version based on the Sinestro and cleland sound mod.
This is based on the original songs, but uses a few faster and, in my opinion, more suitable cover versions for the modes.
Furthermore, the Orbmultiball was adjusted so that there is a little more atmosphere.
If you want to listen, you can watch a few videos here and see / hear how the current status is.

Agree. I added the official Stern Groot arms not the mod arms (I got from distro but Marco has them too). I cut out my own mounts out of PETG (super easy and cheap). Doesn't block view and adds a ton of character!

He is saying that the stern arms block not the lighted pinball mods ones.
I have a set of them if anyone is interested

Whole family is REALLY enjoying our new GOTG! Quick questions:
1) The Rocket kickback and the Mode Select kickback both want to send the ball SDTM with far too much regularity. What are our options for correcting this? And to where should those be sent?
2) Similar question on the orb. The magnet loves to throw it directly to the left outlane. Ideas there?
Appreciate the help!
Quoted from BallyKISS1978:Does it make the game that much better?
I refused to get one until I played one with the mod. When I heard that, I jumped on it and don't regret it at all. Incredible change to the game!

Always leave your right flipper up after shooting the Rocket.
On the Orb I always prepared for an forward nudge if the magnet gets a little crazy

My Stern arms don't get in the way in my opinion, but I understand why some chose the mod.

Agreed. I sold our pro to get an le, because I like the look of the arms. Would of been just as happy with a premium, but this came up for a good price .

His mod made stranger things better. Have to download it and have the SD card ready when the game arrives. Thank you for the reply.

I think I heard Borg say that the rocket shot is designed to hit your right flipper while it is at rest.
The only time I ever get a drain off of the kickback is if my right flipper is raised.
It should not go SDTM.
Neither should the scoop eject, that should always go to the left flipper.

Has anyone ever had problems with part of the GI going out when you open the coin door? When the GI goes out it says overcurrent node 9. Rebooting the machine seems to resolve it but opening the coindoor can cause it again.
As we were troubleshooting the lower gi went out and it was saying over current node 8. Then we noticed only the service buttons are triggering in switch test. Really odd. Game plays fine after a reboot. Seems to be opening the coin door that's causing it.

We noticed that one of the coin mechs was sometimes not registering coin drops so adjusted the switch. The game played fine the rest of the night but we are still seeing only the service switches registering in switch test and nothing else. So odd.
just following up, it appears the switch test issue is unrelated. The interlock switch needs to be pulled out for any switch to register other than the service buttons. That only leaves the mystery of the node board overcurrent. Odd that it's node 9 then node 8. We have not seen it be both at the same time yet. The fact that it seems to be related to the interlock switch as a fresh boot always works fine is really strange. It didn't give any indication of a failed component as far as I am aware just node board overcurrent.

Were your Wizmods magnetic or a peel and stick (and, do they muffle the sound from the speakers)?

RIGHT?!?! cant wait!
