They're definitely hilarious, but not in the way I was imagining...

Action figures are one thing; but for JJP to have had the same problem with Pirates, the issue has to be with full video clips. I have no idea what the workaround was for SW, but I'd guess the studios license this stuff around dvd/bluray rights strangely.
