No way the inner art comes with the pro, but it does look good!
Looks pretty cool. The pro model looks like the way to go with this one. The premium / LE offers stationary groot arms, two more magnets and RGB lighting? That's it for around $2k more...$3k more with an LE. Pass, pro looks to be offering the best value here.

Seems like the infinity stone is open on the Pro yet it is closed on the PREM/LE (is it interactive?)
CAN WE STOP WITH THE MIDDLE BASH TOYS, BORG?!
It looks fun, and I'm excited to try it, but holy crap does Stern need an injection of new ideas. They apparently design with templates over there.
Quoted from KozMckPinball:Have they done a ramp configuration before that goes in and out of the back wall like that?

Iron Man. Same plastic ramps.
Quoted from RandomGuyOffCL:This is their answer to pirates?
2 plastic ramps and a dismembered ball puking groot...
Groot Vomit Mode Engaged!

I'm sure this game has been in the works loooooong before the JJP reveal. Stern's 3rd or 4th release from now might be in response to JJP Pirates lol
Eh. Looks like another fun, safe design which is exactly what Stern does well. They are the McDonald's of pinball. Is it me, or does that left ramp look pretty flimsy?

Quoted from colonel_caverne:I need to hear it now!
Agree.
Wonder what music made it in?
Meh... Looks ok ...typical stern pin. Nothing special and will feel /play just like most other borg pins with diferent theme. My jjp orders are safe....
Quoted from Wolfmarsh:Naw, I love the Dead Flip streams of the new games. You get to see it in the same environment that you would at a bar or a friends house, people having fun.
I don't need a sanitized marketing video, I want actual people enjoying the game (or not).
That's all well and good, always a time and place for gameplay videos. It's just my preference to get to see the bells and whistles to what I'm going to spend thousands of dollars on rather than just watch someone play the game and generally trying to figure out what's going on.
Quoted from thewool:Who designed this, was this the paedo's pin or done by someone else?
i think someone said Borg
Why didnt they reveal at expo, did they not have it ready in time?

They knew they had no chance up against jjp potc?
Quoted from bigd1979:Meh... Looks ok ...typical stern pin.
Yup, and like the others, will crush on route. Looks great.
Thank you Stern for recreating junk and keeping my wallet safe. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy some Stern games and currently have 2 in my line up. However, they are going to have to come correct to get my hard earned cash....
It looks like the Groot hands block a lot of the inserts. Might be hard to tell what's going on in the Premium/LE
Quoted from KozMckPinball:Have they done a ramp configuration before that goes in and out of the back wall like that?
Again no wireforms even on the LE. I am sticking with my opinion on Stern
GOTG looks ok, but for me it (again) has not the wow factor, especially considering what they cost over here. This LE will be 10.800 Euro (about 11.500 dollar ?)
Quoted from smokedog:Yup, and like the others, will crush on route. Looks great.
That's great but for at home (which is the main market) it will look and play just like my met or most other stern pins for that matter.
Looks like the Premium has the following so far over the Pro.
1) Spinner (left orbit)
2) Color changing inserts
3) Trio of magnets (Pro seems to have 1?)
4) Groot arms that look great, but will make the Rocket kickback a pure joy
5) Perhaps an orb that opens (one shot of Prem looks to have it closed, where all Pro pics are open).
So far the Pro looks like the best bang for the buck, especially if the MET spinner mod can somehow be redone.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Iron Man. Same plastic ramps.
Agree and features mash up previous Borg hits like TWD.
Go with what works.
I'll have to watch the first GOTG again, this is very dominant Guardians of the Groot.
Whatever, kids will love it.
Quoted from beatmaster:multi balls will be a blast to play with those big hands blocking everything.
I'm in only if there is an Eminem mode and those hands rotate around with a couple birdies...
Quoted from bigd1979:That's great but for at home (which is the main market) it will look and play just like my met or most other stern pins for that matter.
Maybe ... Do you feel your MM and AFM play exactly the same? Those lay out's are pretty much identical ...
Quoted from Ericc123:It looks like the Groot hands block a lot of the inserts. Might be hard to tell what's going on in the Premium/LE
Godzilla did the same thing for the left loop inserts. Some of them I didn't know were even there.
Borg is sterns ace and the best designer out there...this game looks worlds better than SW. Saying that, it IS very similar to his IM and MET but that’s not a bad thing I guess.
My only question is: are we supposed to be the bad guy fighting the GoTG here? Why is Rocket shooting at us? Why are we bashing Groots face and shoving our balls in his mouth? Shouldn’t we be fighting a bad guy like Ronin or something instead of the good guys?
I really don't know about those big groot arms. For me they look like they get in the way and don't add much.
Might be better in person though.
Quoted from InfiniteLives:i think someone said Borg
Why didnt they reveal at expo, did they not have it ready in time?
I bet they didn't dare do another BM66 style reveal.....again no code to speak of but didn't want to do another 'hands off!!!' reveal as this time around all of us would have laughed out loud.....
Quoted from Pimp77:Borg is sterns ace and the best designer out there...
At this point he's not even designing anymore. He's taking the same 3-4 ideas from all his games (and 1-2 from other peoples' games) and putting them in slightly different spots on the playfield.
The game looks fun, but there's absolutely nothing new or exciting here. At all.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Iron Man. Same plastic ramps.
Not exactly_ the same, form wise, but the same entrance/exits for sure.
Quoted from Micky:I really don't know about those big groot arms. For me they look like they get in the way and don't add much.

This design idea would have been even better on Iron Maiden...just the thought of battling Eddie like this...shiiiiiiit.....!
That would have been insane!
Quoted from epthegeek:Not exactly_ the same, form wise, but the same entrance/exits for sure.
True! But I figured I'd just say it and nobody would notice I was off several degrees. Goddammit! I do like the way they hug the Groot head.
