The only time he actually did something important, he 'died'. I don't personally care to see Baby Groot *anywhere*, so here's hoping that GOTG2 isn't in there, because I'm sure if it is, clips of it will be all over the bloody place. Whatever...Stern's gonna do what will make them money, so they're obviously tapping into the fact that most people did like the character....probably because they can relate with being dumber than a sack of hammers and one-dimensional. I mean...I thought it was AWESOME that they pulled in Ego as a character, even if the whole "he's your dad" thing was kind of silly. Character development was much better in the second movie, for sure....except Scoot.

Well, this game has been in development for ages for maybe it was too hopeful to expect GOTG 2 to be in the game.
Guess all will be revealed tomorrow.

Huh, I felt the opposite. Second one didn't live up to the first for me. Still enjoyed it, just not quite the same magic second time around.

What's wrong, jgentry? Sorry, but Groot was a much better character in the first movie....hopefully this game ignores GOTG 2, because Baby Groot was nothing more than a moronic butt of all the jokes. At ANY rate, Groot was easily the worst part of both movies. Would rather see physical Drax, Gamora, Starlord figures than a giant stupid tree head.
Magnets is great. Been way too long since Stern has used magnets without cores or plates over them.... here's hoping.
*Edit* Hell, I'd even take Yondu over Groot.

Does look pretty similar to MET layout, but with Adams Family central playfield magnets. The Groot head might go where sparky is? Bash it then shoot into mouth, with subway to the scoop?

IMO they (Stern) used a pre-made macro for that logo. There's no way someone handmade it. Looks ultra generic.

This is close to a grail pin for me. As excited as I want to be about this, I'm very skeptical... of stern release yet another "half baked" game.
Or they could totally redeem themselves on this release by listening to what all their customers have been saying about quality and code issues (which I have a hard time believing they will do).
Sorry I sound so pessimistic, but history tends to repeat itself. I truly hope this game is awesome

@mschonbrun let me clarify yes I'm with you I LOVE pinball every game is awesome in its own way. But when we only get very few games released a year, and those games are released with half baked code, ghosting, cabinet issues... that is not awesome. That's all I was saying.
