I didn't realize that the battery was actually soldered to the board and was getting the low battery message shortly after buying my Tee'd Off too. I ordered a battery socket for a 2430 battery, since that is what was attached the the board already. Haven't had an issue since. Here is a pic if it is any help.

I got mine off eBay. I think it was less than $4 for two of them. Though I do think they came from outside the US.
