I have the above machine with its ball trap ( later what we would call the ball trough) coil that is burnt out. It's not an original so there is no number on it, nor do I have a schematic for it. Can anyone tell me please if they know the number? I have a box of old various coils that are good so am hoping to have the correct one in there. Thank you if you can help me.

Not sure about Quartette, but Slick Chick has similar ball trap with A-5195, 12 ohm coil.

I assume you mean the “shuffle coil” (i.e., the one that opens the board that releases balls in trap holes)...? If so it is A-1657 based on schematics.

It was an A5197 and I've ordered one. Thanks to all that responded.
