I've got a Jungle Queen that I really enjoy, but the playfield is roached. I put a playfield protector on it and it plays well. I had a buddy over last night and he thinks he can touch it up (repaint it) and is excited about it. Can't make it any worse than it is now. Can someone post a good image of the lower playfield, from the center of the double bonus light down..

I'd also be interested in a replacement playfield if someone has one thats in decent shape..

Ah, my favorite EM.

It will be pretty late when I get home, but I can get you pics if you haven't found any by then.

These are from IPDB, if they do the trick.

Thanks.. So far, this and Cleopatra have been my favorites, although I haven't played many. I saw the pics from IPDB and they are pretty good, but I was hoping for some more detail of the lines on the orange/pink. I'm in no rush, this probably won't get started for another month or more.

Gotcha. Happy to help. Unfun fact: Gottlieb games suffer playfield wear close to the flippers because they use a thinner flipper rubber. Most ops would only have the wider version on hand when changing them and this creates a downward angle at the flipper bat. So, every flip kind of drives the ball into the playfield. Luckily, my Jungle Queen was pretty much unplayed for a lot of its life. My Gottlieb Strikes 'n Spares has wear at the flippers due to the wrong rubber issue.

Interesting on the flipper rubbers.. Never heard that. I just figured this game wasn't stored well and over time it just started flaking off. I never looked at the play meter to see how many plays are on the game, but I'm sure its a whole lot.. It was definitely not taken care of at all in its past. I've got a lot of time wrapped in this machine, but it was worth it.

thanks Paul... Thats great. This will be a good test, but my buddy seems really confident and pretty excited to give it a try.. If so, may be another painter in the hobby..
