When hitting the right number first that is higher than hitting the left number on roto target the game will add a ball. If I hit the left number first (which is lower) than the right number second (higher number), it will not add a ball.

Instructions state it does not matter which number is hit first. Just wondering if that is correct or not. Can’t figure out why it will not score a ball in one way.

Any ideas?

Hello china,

Start a new game but don't lift the ball. Remove lockdown bar and glass. Serve ball and retain, lift playfield and prop. Now set right hand target to a higher than the lefthand in value. Make the left target , wait till has finished stepping. Now looking down onto the motor board the last relay on the back lefthand side is the 'win' relay. Watching the win relay now make the righthand target with a free hand. The stepper should step, Scoremotor turn, p2, right scoring and win relay pull in adding a ball.

Going through those steps; the Winn relay does not pull in. both steppers step up to correct number, the motor turns and p2 pulls in, but “w” relay does not respond. I did take off the swipper arms of the left stepper unit because it got off track. Maybe one of the contacts are not completely correct. Do you know where it rests in reset position on left stepper unit or where the bottom or single tracer arm that corresponds to the number bulbs sets at reset?

Hello china,

With the machine turn on but at game over, lift and prop the playfield. Looking at the the two stepper units from the coin door you should see the two coils on each stepper. Top right on each stepper is the zero'ing coil, (one pull of this zeros stepper arm), bottom left is the 'add' coil. Standing on the right hand side of the machine looking at the two steppers, press the righthand side 'zero'ing' coil plunger with your finger. The stepper should return to its start position, note the position of the arm, the stepper arm on the stepper behind should be the same, see picture, (the light in the 'right target' on the playfield will confirm this. You will note the stepper arms are different from each other and and have a different start position.
Do you have a schematic for the game?. For the 'win' relay to pull in various switch have to be made. As the P2 relay is pulling in l'm wondering if the switches on the 'win' circuit are closed. They are one switch on the 'O' relay, one on the 'J' relay and the 4C motor switch.
