Gtb Diamond Jack knocker coil issue

An intermittent issue that occurs when ball passes over top rollover lanes. Knocker fires 5 times when score motor pulses 5 times to increment score reel. Tried following circuit path to knocker from a KoD schematic but no help. Need to see circuit section from DJ schematic if someone can post, or provide a suggestion as to where to look for issue.

This is a common problem with "Diamond Jack". What you are hearing is not the knocker, but the one point bell. I've been through this on several "DJs" that I've owned and serviced. I usually move the adjustable bracket for the bell to its longest position and secure the bell itself tightly to the bracket. I've even isolated the bracket from the cabinet by mounting it on rubber grommets. This helps somewhat, but for some reason on that game, the bell sounds more like a knocker.
