GTB Central Park reset problem

Central Park reset problem happens about 50% of the time. Game resets completely except for the "yellow sequence control bank" setup coil won't energize or won't energize enough to reset the bank.
Here is a link to a pic of that portion of the schematic: http://tinyurl.com/q534oxx

Pretty straight forward on schematic, NO switch on "SB" (start relay) which is located on the "green sequence control bank" closes during reset at the same time NO motor switch "3B" closes to energize the yellow control bank reset coil. Relay "SB" only stays activated momentarily since once it activates it closes "SB" armature which then energizes the green control bank setup coil to reset the "SB" relay. Both switches are clean and appear to be properly adjusted. Problem is the timing is just slightly off so the reset doesn't happen reliably every time. If I short out the lugs on the "SB" switch at the moment the motor switch closes, the yellow control bank reset coil energizes fully and reset is complete.
When the playfield is up in service position and I reset the game I can see switch "SB" spark and the setup coil energize when the motor switch closes during a complete setup. When setup doesn't complete there is no spark an only a slight (or no) energizing of the setup coil.
Any ideas on why the timing of these two switches closing is inconsistent?

Thanks.

If those are the larger style contact points on 3B and SB, they may need to be filed with a hard file to remove any pitting and provide a strong signal.

Other possibilities include needing to reflow the solder joints on the tabs, checking for loose contact points (sometimes they get loose and are able to 'spin' in the blade, which makes for poor connections).

But since jumpering the SB switch makes it work, then that switch seems like the prime suspect.
