I've just finished repairing the above machine, following it being unused for many years but the match feature isn't working (it is set to work via the plug on the motor board)

The 0.9 stepper in the head had burnt its coil out and was generally in poor health so that's been thoroughly stripped down, cleaned, new coil and springs and it works fine. I tested each brass contact for continuity too so id say its as good as it can be.

The score reels were also cleaned, new springs, and they score and reset perfectly.

The credit reel was jammed to its max 15 games, presumably for free play. That's now been cleaned, new springs and steps up and down properly.

When i start a new game with credit showing, it steps down and the meter increments ok. If i make the special feature light, that too increments the credits correctly. Making the high score also adds credit.

So, all works ok, but no match feature. As its adding and subtracting correctly on the credit reel, etc I'm thinking that the only thing it can be is the ones score reel? I don't as yet have a schematic as its ordered, so am working on logic, but I'm out of ideas. I've looked and looked at the ones reel as I'm assuming that reel is part of the circuit, but it would appear fine, as is the 0.9 unit. Any ideas people?
