    Interested!

... and shipping cost to Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

    Quoted from ghostrachel:

Can you tell me which tip is best for doing .156" pins? (A1002, A1003, A1004?) I remember replacing some molex before with a different desolderer and the hole in the tip of the desolderer was too small to fit around them. Thanks.

    I believe it's A1007.

I read the Hakko 633-01 Iron Holder is handy as well. And I'm planning on getting extra filters: Hakko A1033 Ceramic Filter 10 Pack.

Just waiting for a PM ...

Just sent my money to Tom because he was very accommodating with shipping to Canada. I certainly couldn't expect free but very fair nonetheless, especially with the improved pricing.

    This was my order:

    - Hakko 808-KIT/P Desoldering Kit with 808 Gun, 120 VAC in Retail Pack --- obviously

    - Hakko A1007 Replacement Desoldering Nozzle 1.6mm for 802/807/808/817 --- supposed to work with 0.156 pins

    - Hakko A1033 Ceramic Filter 10 Pack for 802/808/800L/707/706/807/809/817 --- supposedly cleanable but shipping to Canada is generally expensive so I'll just get 'em

    - Hakko 633-01 Iron Holder with 599B-02 Waterless Tip Cleaner --- recommended to me for tidy work-desk storage

I can hardly wait. I have a box of old Bally displays that I want to refurb.

    Thanks, Tom!

Received my Hakko 808 (along with stand, extra filters and A1007 tip for 0.156 pins) yesterday and it's awesome.

I wish I had bought this tool years ago; it saves so much time and solder-sucker/wick aggravation and lessens the chance of doing damage.

Thanks for putting the deal together, Tom!

I've had my 808 from B+D for a while now and it's awesome. Saves so much time.

The A1007 tip is a must and the stand is very handy for not burning yourself or your work area.
